I haven't really listened to many Korean pop songs, but I'll give her a try. I don't think it's fair to label ALL k-pop/j-pop as annoying or w/e though. There are plenty of j-pop artists that aren't like nails against a chalkboard. But in the end it all comes down to taste.

Strangely after watching it a few times I've come to see it almost like...awesomely bad. It's weird, but it's almost cool how she tried to reinact a scene from AC, never thought it was possible. Makes you wonder about whether they'd try a live action one day obviously with better cosplay, actors and no inexplicable dance scenes lol.

Imagine if she tried to reinact an Aerith scene from the compilation? Though most of Aerith's scenes aren't as exciting as that fight, it probably wouldn't fit well with a catchy pop tune. But for a ballad possibly...*shudders*

I will admit that it was beautifully filmed and the constumes were great, but I still smell a lawsuit happening soon. Someone said that you couldn't rip off something that big and not get away with it. I agree. And I also think that they did a good job making everything, it looked quite... nice actually... well, to me anyways.

Ehh, I didn't think that was too horribly degrading to AC. It was kind of weird, doubtless. But I was more annoyed by the use of Fur Elise than anything else. It totally didn't fit the song, the video, the vibe, anything. Plus, they played it on some kind of strange cross between a harpsicord and a keyboard (or at least that's what it sounded like-- seriously though, some arrangements should just be left to piano). It ruined a wonderful piece of music.

Actually, I'm not too worried about a lawsuit. I remember seeing once - when FF8 was just released - a female singer also making a music video based almost entirely off the FF8 opening FMV. She made herself out to be Rinoa, and it was so awful it was hilarious. It made me laugh so bad I fell off my chair. :lol: But SE didn't seem to do anything about it at the time. *shrugs*

O...M....G.. That's crazy! I mean, yeah the cosplay was obviously really bad, she didn't even have the pockets on the front of her skirt like thing but I still thought it was pretty cool. The music was pretty horrid, especially for the concept..I mean Tifa and Loz fighting while you hear random "Hey Baby"s and stuff is just weird. But I just think it's cool how she was actually able to make it look like she was doing the flips and everything. Watching AC it seems impossible to do that stuff in real life like jumping off moving motorcycles and stuff like that, lol, but she actually made it look possible with enough special effects. If I ever made a music video...lol...well that would be it, only I would reinact things with Aeris in them! XD :aeris: Then my improv ending would be Cloud and Aeris kissing or something! I'm more concerned about the music than the show... what the HECK was that racket? Maybe I'm just biased, cuz I love Nobuo Uematsu so much. I thought it was okay... considering the effects they had to use.

It's still a great scene! You don't have to think that it's ruined because a bunch of cosplayers and a singer with a stupid song decided to turn it into sacrilege. They could've paid more attention to the facial expressions in the game, IMHO. Marlene has to be more scared!
