Elizabeth BennetOften called Lizzy, Elizabeth is the heroine of Pride and Prejudice. However, Mr. Darcy, though he appears proud, wins her love and respect, but not before she believes she's lost him forever.

Jo March
Josephine March, from Little Women, is a tomboy who loves writing, acting, and her family. She dreams of seeing the world and publishing her book.
I haven't read that one (will add that to the immense list of must-reads), but I guess that's a fairly decent description of me. I'm not very much of a tomboy, and I prefer singing to acting. But yeah. It's decent. The stuff about writing and seeing the world is spot on though. Just thank God I didn't get Jane Eyre. I hated that book.

I love Pride and Prejudice! :fangirl: The old BBC version, that is. :D It my favourite period drama. Little Women is such a great story! I read it for the first time a few weeks ago. Jo has to be the coolest of the sisters by far. READ IT. >: D
Eowyn of Rohan
One of the heroines of The Lord of the Rings, Eowyn feels trapped tending to her aged uncle, Theodon. Then her life is completely upturned by the arrival of a handsome stranger from the north. He, however, is in love with another, and Eowyn rides away to the Battle of Pelenor fields where she ultimately finds glory, reknown, AND true love.
^_^ I'm happy! I like Faramir.

Excellent choice, Lynn- what a fun quiz! ^_^ Unfortunately, I've never read Anne of Green Gables (heard of it, of course, but never read it XD), but I got Anne. Silly ignoramus Luna. :P
Anne Shirley
The loveable redhead of "Anne of Green Gables." Anne lives on Prince Edward Island, and never ceases to astonish it's inhabitants. She's a writer, matchmaker, and can generally be found getting into some scrape or the other. Gilbert Blythe, one of her dearest friends, is in love with her, but she refuses to see it for many years.
