Everyone likes to portray Sephiroth as evil incarnate; but maybe we're looking at it from the wrong angle?

I always liked Sephiroth's sarcastic demeanor while being evil; like he's never a 'pure evil' kinda guy, he always throws in his little quips like 'It's been a while/good to see you, Cloud', or 'I've thought of a wonderful present for you', or 'don't tell me you have feelings now'.

He always tries to be funny about the whole thing; he's like the antithesis of the typical bad guy, if you will. He doesn't try to be all emo about the whole thing. He's more like 'yup, i'm evil *wink* '. It's the people who try to make him overly serious that make him out of character. In-character, he is actually quite funny - even playful :lol: if you look at him from a certain perspective. I think that's the reason why he's been beaten so many times; he doesn't put the full effort in, he isn't serious enough about any of it, and he always underestimates his opponent.

Hell yeah. That bizzatch can summon the clouds! Ph34r him! His sarcastic-ness kicked ass in AC. It's just too bad that he always has to underestimate Cloud or let his guard down while fighting him.

Well, he is evil incarnate - or atleast the ultimate evil in FF7. Period.

He's just not a boring villain. He's a fun villain.

And he's cute; :lol: I'd turn straight for Seph

I like the "mad, crazy" bad guys. Not ones that say they are the ultimate evil because those don't interest me anymore. The crazy ones are less predictable and they can do anything at any time. <3

AND HE ALWAYS COMES BACK SOMEHOW LOLZ.

He's getting revenge for all the boys who picked on him for his 'old man' hair when he's younger. :mellow:

I like my villains either crazy or power-obsessed with understandable reason.
