Title: Your Fictional Crushes

Anti-R - February 9, 2007 01:48 AM (GMT)
Most likely most of you people will write Cloud, but I digress. ^.^

Anyways, way before the hormones kick in and think that other person across the street is kind of cute, once in our lives we think that character in fiction we liked was the most awesome. And in a way, it still is.

I'll start with my first love, so to speak, was Peter Pevensie from Chronicles of Narnia back when I was eight. Way before I even touch a controller of a PlayStation. It was the "kiddies road to Lord of the Rings" sort of thing, but I was hooked to the book and loved it so much, that by the time Harry Potter became popular in the 90s I wasn't that drawn in by it (its a shame but I'll live).

So you could see why I'm so... uh... into the the actor who plays him, and I remember being so emotionally confused in the Last Battle (Peter stayed in Narnia, but he died in the real world, not to mention around that time, he was 22). >.<

Rinchan - February 9, 2007 04:25 AM (GMT)
Haru Sohma from Fruits Basket. I always liked his bad boy but polite attitude.

I used to have a thing for Locke when I was younger and I first played VI. Needless to say I wasn't very nice to Celes because of this.

killedwithabustersword - February 9, 2007 02:00 PM (GMT)
Ah-hahaha. Cloud. ^o^

and Yuki Sohma (i love his quiet-ness...and he's really a gentleman...i want him with tohru, but sadly...:(). :D i used to have a crush on Yusuke Urameshi when i was small. yeah...

hmm...

and Edward Cullen from a really nice novel, Twilight (by Stephenie Meyer). :hyper:

EnglishRose - February 9, 2007 04:13 PM (GMT)
Ha! Were do I start? I fell in love with practically all the young male characters in the Harry Potter series between age 11 and 14. But the one who still has my swooning feelings and over-flowing emotions is Draco Malfoy. (Seems to remind me of Rufus ShinRa...)

But recently, I've fallen in love with Inuyasha.

Yukari - February 9, 2007 06:31 PM (GMT)
One of my first loves was Edgar from FFVI. I adore the guy, he's just so nice and friendly and funny and loyal. I also had a crush on Chris Redfield when I played Resident Evil back in 1998. Oh, and Liquid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. I think a lot of that was to do with his voice. Being from the UK, I always love characters with English accents that are actually stylish villians, not annoying gits (like Alfred Ashford from RE: Code Veronica).

I always liked Inuyasha more that Sesshomaru. His bad temper and snarky comments amuse me so. I mean, Sesshomaru is okay, but I guess he's just not the type of character I end up fangirling over. Miroku beats both of them though. Perverted monks FTW!

I really like Haru. His split personality is really entertaining, especially when the Student Council President starts shouting about how his hair can't be naturally black and white - so he proves it. :lmao: I also like how he looks after Yuki, it's really sweet.

Toxo - February 9, 2007 07:35 PM (GMT)
ROXAS! Emoish-skater-blondie-boy. ^_^ I liked him when I saw him in Deep Dive and instantly fell in love with his character in KH2.

Ally McBeal - February 9, 2007 07:35 PM (GMT)
vegeta sora and roxas.there are no others for me xD

Pyra Kurai Akaidra - February 9, 2007 09:18 PM (GMT)
Early on in life, I once have a crush on both Tai and Matt. Whether their looks or attitude, I think both.

But then, I grew to like Henry from Tamers (nothing to do with him being half-Chinese, nope  ). Cute and his worries for Terriermon is understandable. Then I became fond of Takato. Unique yet awkwardly adorable, since I'm a dreamer myself.

Digimon Frontier comes and you should know who's next.

TAKUYA :fangirl:

A cute brunette with an lovable hot-head attitude, I especially love his brother-like relationship with Tomoki/Tommy.

EDWARD CULLEN FTW PLZ. D:

Haha, I go through "obsession phases". For example, FF/KH-wise: Cloud to Vincent to Riku to Vincent again to Zack to Vincent again to Cloud...etc. XD

Yeah, my current #1 obsession would have to be...Hmmm. xD Video game-wise, probably Link. I've been playing TP for a while. D:

And, novel-wise, yes, Edward Cullen. YOU MUST LOVE EDWARD K. :tard:

My first obsession was Yuki Sohma. *If I'm remembering correctly...Heh, it might've been Miroku from Inu-Yasha or Ryou from Tokyo Mew Mew...All this was in...Errr...Sixth grade? My super-obessions began then.* He's still my favorite FB character. BEST. EVER. YUS. D:

Agh. I'm trying to remember who I liked when I was little...If I remember anything, I'll be sure to say. I had some pretty funky crushes way back when. :lmao:

My first fictional crush was Tai (I think it was the soccer) and then I fell for Matt's emo-charms. Both of them were so cool to my ten year old self.

Then there was Sephiroth, Byakuya and a whole lot of other bishies... And YOUKO KURAMA! :fangirl: Silver hair, golden eyes, cute fox ears and uber coolness! I think I still haven't gotten over that one!

Sefie - February 11, 2007 09:20 AM (GMT)
Irvine. I would screw him and screw him '_'
Honestly though, I think that he's my only real fictional crush xD

Oddishness - February 11, 2007 11:34 AM (GMT)
Mr. Howl of Howl's Moving Castle.

He is so handsome and sexy and...

And Sirius Black, of the Harry Potter fandom. He was my first fictional crush. :P

Hades' Daughter - February 11, 2007 02:11 PM (GMT)
I have so many crushes, I might as well just join Whores Anonymous. My first crush though, I believe, was Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid. He was quite the dream guy. :giggle:

I've noticed that I tend to crush on guys (fictional or not) with darker hair. Cloud, Link, and Dart from Legend of Dragoon are a few special exceptions. I'm currently still in wuv with Van Fanel (Escaflowne)...but when he's not around, well, I don't mind flirting with Sousuke (Full Metal Panic) and Ike (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance) ^^

Did anyone else ever fall for Aragorn from LOTR? I know I did when I first read the books a while ago.

Bloodbath - February 11, 2007 03:19 PM (GMT)
The FF7 guys were my first fictional crushes. XD Cloud, and then Vincent, and a twinge of Sephiroth. After that, Squall followed (only him, really. I though Laguna was too old back then and something just felt wrong with Zell and Seifer.) Then there was that funny phase with Harry Potter... I still adore Harry though, and his cute bumblingness.

O__O Me too! Except for some occasions too. But usually, when someone brings up a fictional guy or something (in a book) and they don't mention hair color, I always think black hair. XD

:o

He was my first fictional crush, too!! I actually used to carry around an Eric *Ken* doll when I was like...4 or 5 maybe EVERYWHERE I went. I lurved him so.

As for others, I was IN LOVE with Darian from Sailor Moon. When I watch some of the episodes now and still swoon over him. XD I loved his personality in the beginning of the show (even though he was so mean to Serena  ...but you know it was out of love). He reminded me of that typical guy that liked you, but decided to show you by picking on you. It was cute, which made me adore him even more. And don't even get me started on him as Tuxedo Mask :lust:

I'm also fond of Kyo from Fruits Basket. Teh orange hair is smex, no? XD And Reno from FFVII. Both are uhmazin.

There is also Draco Malfoy from the HP series. The list just keeps going and going and going. XD But yeah, I've had my share of fictional crushes.

Scott - February 11, 2007 04:38 PM (GMT)
Ooooh fun thread.

I think mine's would have to be Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series. She's pretty quirky and weird (like meh) and she doesn't interact well (like meh). Plus, it helps that the actress playing her in the movie is cute. But in the books, I think she provided some humour when everything else around Harry seemed bleak. I always loved the scenes she was in. So yeah, Luna ♥

I forgot about him! Hatori was my favorite Fruits Baskets' character while I still liked the series (and before a certain Mayu came into the picture)! He reminds me of Byakuya from Bleach and a little bit of Vincent too. That picture of him sleeping is so cute!

I wasn't really caught by Cloud's cold charm XD. My first fictional crush was Yamato Ishida of Digimon!!! Haha, if I feel heartbroken, I always think my Yamato is real and mine!!!

Paladin's Heart - February 17, 2007 05:27 AM (GMT)
I HONESTLY must say, reading all of your posts were highly interesting. :giggle:

Surprising to say (or maybe not), my first fictional crush wasn't Cloud. Actually, the first was Marth back when he was introduced in SSBM back when I was about...oh, 8 or 9? In fact, he's still high on my list too. Even when I was a little girl, I found his Japanese voice really attractive, and I still do. After 6 years, he's still my most used and adored character in the game. And don't get me started with the Tiara .

I bet I'm the only person who thinks this, but to me, Ike looks like a mix of Marth and Roy. xD

Angelalex242 - February 17, 2007 02:36 PM (GMT)
Primarily?

Aerith Gainsborough (There's a reason I maintain her fanclub AND have her claimed in the bishy claim thread.)
Lucia (Lunar 2:Eternal Blue. There's a reason I spammed for votes several times around here.)

I have felt strongly about Rinoa and Dagger in the past, but not as much as the above two. And it mostly happened when I was roleplaying Squall and Zidane, respectively. Fictional crushes for me often tend to be RP based.

You think so? ^^
Path of Radiance is the only Fire Emblem game I've ever played...so I really don't know much about Marth or Roy except from what I've seen of them in SSBM. I'm guessing Ike looks a little like Roy due to the spiky hair and a little like Marth due to the hair color? Or maybe you're referring to similar facial structures?

Enough said.

As for fictional crushes, well boy, I've had a lot.

Ash Ketchum
Goku
Gohan
Vegetto
Tai (from Digimon)
Cloud Strife (more like a freaking obsession that I'll never grow out of)
Yami Yugi
Joey (Yugioh!)
Sora (Kingdom Hearts)
Dante (Devil May Cry, only second to Kuraudo)
MARIO (lmao)
Link (who doesn't?)
Tidus (yum)

and stuff

Wow, I move in and out of obsessions quickly.

NEW current obsession: Mr. Protagonist Dood from FFvsXIII. DX

Mmmm....

Well, as far as I can remember, Jack from Titanic was my first crush. I don't know why, to me I thought he was extremely handsome. I watched Titanic when I was about... nine. (yeah, not a very appropriate movie for a nine year old)
Then, came DareDevil's Matt Murdock played by Ben Affleck. I've always had a major crush on Ben Affleck, (lol, my older sister's think he's gorgeous too) and DareDevil really got me into him first.

As for anime, I liked Kyou Sohma for a bit. Just because of his temper, and that gentle side he always tries to hide. Orange hair is love too right? Lol.

I did go through this stage of being a rabid for Cloud Strife. My friends thought I was literally crazy for having a crush on a pixel though.

Mesmerize - February 19, 2007 11:39 PM (GMT)

Actually, I meant both - hair and facial structures! You're right about the hair though, and the face is kind of a mixture. If you'd look at Roy's character art, Ike also has that serious face. But In the original FE manga, Marth smiles quite alot, despite how emotional he is. I guess only the 'Marth' part of Ike is only the hair color. ^^" The FE's that Marth and Roy (excuse FE7, even though we only get to see Roy for a little while) star in are Japan release only, so I don't know much about them either.

Akira Sendoh!~ :fangirl:

ZOMG, SENDOH!!! I remember him!!!

My sister used to have a crush on the guy with "Micchan" following closely behind.

Kusari Yarou - February 20, 2007 10:23 AM (GMT)
No offense...but I always thought the way Sendoh looked at Rukawa was...TOO intense.
I was a Mitsui girl. :P

My first book crush, I had it at 9 years old. Edmund Pevensie from The Chronicles of Narnia. I read VoDT first, and there was just something about that sharp-tongued, slightly sarcastic schoolboy that caught my eye...
Then I read 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe' and got the shock of my life to see his dark side! ...But I wubbed him all the more for how he made up for his betrayal, in the final battle of LWW, and even more in 'Prince Caspian'. (Plus he just got the BEST snarky lines in PC! XD).
Then came his dashing older version in 'The Horse and his Boy' and forget it, it was fangirl land

Oooh, I have so many fictional crushes. . . lets see, I believe one of my first was on Tuxedo Mask aka Darien from Sailor Moon. I loved how he acted like a creep but was really a soft machmellow guy. And his devotion to Serena? What girl wouldn't want that?

Haha, this might be unbelievable but I am not attracted to Cloud XD but I do kinda like Zack in CG! Kira Yamato of Gundam Seed Destiny was the fourth anime crush I had---wow, I think I'm obssessed with all the Yamato of the world! Speaking of Sailor Moon, I did once liked Tuxedo Mask, but then I thought he's too...corny... XD
