Awwwwww this is such a cute thread, Alex! Hmmm I say alive Aerith (like KH Aerith :giggle:) He would probably get her like a piece of jewelry, maybe a necklace with a heart, a small ring with a diamond or some earrings or something. It's so hard to say! Poor Cloud! LOL Oh! I know! He'd get her a Moogle plushie and some roses! I did a drawing awhile back of Cloud giving her a moogle plushie xD Then he'd take her out for a nice, very romantic dinner later that evening, afterwards followed by...:whistle:

As for Spirit Aerith, wow...I'm not really sure. I guess they would meet in their "special place", spend the whole day together in each other arms, laying amongst the flowers while Cloud tried to whisper sweet little words (being quite uncomfortable and embarrassed of course) in her ear. I could envision the two just finding one another completely lost in each other for the whole day, floating together through nothing but flowers and whitespace as they held onto one another, and I could even see Cloud attempting to try and sing Happy Birthday to her if he worked up the courage ;)

Alive!Aerith:
Idea 1. A baby chocobo. I can just see Aerith squealing happily over a soft lil yellow fluffball with Cloud looking all embarrassed.
Idea 2. A silver heart locket. With his picture in it, of course :lol:
Idea 3. Flowers. Maybe roses, or maybe something unusual like lillies or something
Idea 4. I like the idea of a Moogle plushie too. It seems very cute!

Spirit!Aerith:
Idea 1. Flowers that he plants somewhere for her. She'd love it, I know. ^_^
Idea 2. Just spending an entire day/night with her in the flowerfield. The whole whispering sweet nothings, sharing dreams, cuddling thing. Very sweet.
Idea 3. Could also apply to Alive!Aerith: the ride on the Highwind that he promised her. Or a ride on his motercycle. Either one would be very special. :wub:

Cloud fails with women and would have no idea what to get Alive!Aeris. He'd get her, like, a bunch of flowers and she'd be all, "Cloud, I'm a FLOWER GIRL," but kiss him on the cheek anyway because it's the thought that counts. And then they'd go ride on the Highwind. :D

As for Alive Aerith I kind of liked that one fanart of Cloud getting all those points in Gold Saucer so he'd give her an umbrella.

Well, for my part, there's the gifts i think Cloud could think of.

Alive Aerith: What about a second and offical date in Gold Saucer? Most of all, let's not forget the Gondola ride with the fireworks. This time, Cloud could be the one saying "i want to meet you". In fact, i think the most wonderful gift Cloud could do to Alive Aerith is himself (ah no naughty thoughts! :lmao: ) as a symbolism of pure devotion.

Spirit Aerith: To the forgotten city, at the lake, Cloud let falls deeply in the holy waters a pink ribbon around a woolf ring. :winner: After that, he goes to their place in the field and let his words soothe her soul in the lifestream.

Spirit: A promise that he won't remember any negative things for a day. And he'd spend the whole day telling her how he was as a kid, about his mom, etc. I think she'd like that.

Cloud wouldn't know what to get her! That's the type of person he is :lol: I imagine he would search the internet, trying to find the ideal gift and he would go for the most common thing, something like flowers, jewelery or chocolates. I would imagine that Aerith might be a little embrassed by the gift but she would laugh it off and be thankful that he's just there for her birthday ^_^

Yeah! I agree! XD I think he'd be at a total loss of what to do and end up worrying until that day arrives. Then he'd probably give her a very spontaneous gift that he thought up on the day itself.

Like I dunno. A pink ribbon... which she stores with the collection she's gotten over the years from him.

For spirit!Aerith, I think he'd try to plant a bunch of flowers somewhere for her memory and end up watching them grow very sadly.

He doesn't need to give her anything fancy. I think that just being together makes the both of them happy. I can see the two of them on the deck, Aerith playfully teasing a rather shy Cloud.

As for spirit-Aerith, I think the same gift would still work beautifully...considering that she's technically still by his side. I can picture the same kind of thing happening, except maybe Cloud would appear to be alone at first, but on a closer look, you'd realize that Aerith is there with him as well. I think they would be content just watching the beautiful sunset together. :)

I'll leave this going for one more day.

I suspect the Valentine's gifts he'd get Aerith or SpiritAerith wouldn't differ that much from what he'd get her for her birthday.

I don't know what he's going to get her, but I have a feeling that it's going to be somethingn she dosn't want, and she'll just have the akward smile and have to pretend that it's a great gift.
