Well, this question is a bit more for you people in the big UK.. :D
See, valentine's Day is coming soon and since I've never ever gotten my boyfriend anything for it in my life, I thought this year I'd surprise him by sending him a box of chocolates. The catch is, he's studying in the UK at the moment, so I need a company in the UK that will deliver and accept PayPal, and is affordable, I'm poor. :giggle: Does anyone know of a website or company that does this? I googled some, but most of the chocolate shops I found online based in the UK doesn't accept PayPal, and it's the only way I can pay. And ordering chocs off eBay is a bit....dodgy, don't you think? I have absolutely no idea about confectionary in the UK, seeing that I'm in Malaysia at the moment... lol.
Of course, it would be great if someone would buy a box and mail 'em along for me, all costs paid by me of course, but that's too much of a long shot I guess - so I'm hoping someone here has done something like this before and knows of a good website.
Thanks a bunch!
Aww
well the only website i know is
Paypal.com
sorry i do know more...
but i seem to have forgotten the names
ill check and get back to you on though
My suggestion is this: Buy a box yourself(it tends to mean a bit more in a long distance relationship if you send something you've touched yourself, I dunno why, it just does) and mail it to him. It may be a BIT pricey, but it'll be easier than trying to find a company in the UK.
Then again, British chocolate=love.....xD
I found
this site - it accepts Paypal, but it doesn't sell chocolate bars or boxes of chocolates, only sweets, so I dunno whether it's any help, Yin. But if he likes sweets, it should be okay! If you click on Valentine's Day, right at the bottom there are a couple of cute teddy bear/sweet combo gifts. Oh, and at the top there's Love Hearts. They're yummy, too! I don't know if you have them in Malaysia, but they're cute little sweets with messages like 'Be Mine' and 'My Love' on them, so they'll be a nice little gift for Valentine's.
Thanks so much for that website, MB - that's awesome. I'm not sure if sweets are his thing, but oh man - they're so cute! I just might ending up getting the love hearts or something... *browses through*
Thanks for the suggestion too, Sefie but the problem is I'm afraid it will take too long to send him chocs all the way from Malaysia and it will all be broken and melted and mashed up by the time it gets to him. ^^; Plus I'm not sure about international mail regulations regarding foodstuffs from other countries either.
Thanks for the help guys! If anyone has any more websites, I'd love the ideas! ^^
