Title: Kareoke?
Description: and other such voice media
nyrin - January 24, 2007 11:23 PM (GMT)
Just recently a friend sang the song Super Girl from the Digimon soundtrack (which I think was sung by the seiyuu for Mimi) and posted it up on her lj. She rocked! Another lj friend of mine posted up her rendition of a couple of other j-pop songs too and she also rocked.
So ya I was wondering if anyone had any voice clips of theirs that they'd like to share (singing or no, but I'd love to hear ppl sing!)? Once I get a microphone I might actually try my hand at doing a little kareoke and posting it up too for all to hear, even though I'm about marginally good.
Oh, and I also recently started downloading a fan rendition of Chrono Trigger, voice acted and made available via mp3 (If anyone wants it I can give the link, tho it might take me a while to find it again). Would anyone consider doing that for FF7, Advent Children or anything else FF7 related? I just thought something like that, though difficult to pull off, would be totally cool and fun to do, especially for ppl who love to act. It's just a random idea though :P

I think those are such neat ideas, nyrin.
It's too bad I don't have any clips to share at the moment...but if I ever do, I'll share 'em.

XD Wow. Kareoke is crazy. I used to live next to bar that had kareoke night. EVERYONE came! My brother once entered a kareoke contest at FYE Games (He sang All My Exes Live In Texas) but he lost. His friend Jake got third though. (He sang Take On Me and Stand By Your Man) ^_^

Speaking of karaoke, here's one I did pretty recently to Maaya Sakamoto's "Yubiwa". Only part of the song was done. Maybe I'll do the whole thing one of these days. Anyhow, it was recorded with my brother's Sony Acid Pro music program. He taught me how to add a touch of reverb(or, in simple English, echo-effect) to it. What's really exciting is that I'm finally sort of learning how to work the program. :woot:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YUDO14NEI had difficulty staying with the music here 'n there...and don't mind me if my Japanese sucks. I'm thinking about maybe doing one from an FF game when I can find some free time.

Very pretty Hades! Amathala, yours isn't working. :( Btw, You probably wont ever hear Taco because she is shy and also has no idea how to record herself. xD

Sing, Taco, sing!!!
All you need is a mic and some kind of recording program. Please post if you ever do come up with some clips. *loves hearing people sing*
Oh, and Amathala...do repost. I had your karaoke at some point, but it got deleted along with some of my other music files. :(

What did you record this karaoke with, Ama?
I love this song. If only your voice had recorded more clearly though.
