I'll sneak on as much as I possible can -.-'

Bye for now!

Bye TenTen. I don't think it's right that your parents ground you for a "C" Cause of the fact that, no one is perfect, but it's your parents rules, so I hope to see you soon! :bye:

I hope your parents lay off the grounded term, because its been proven that when kids might be falling a little in grades when parents really push them, its the parents putting too much strain on the child. Hope you come back soon :)

Aww, that sucks, Tenshi. :( I can't believe you're grounded for nine weeks because of one C when all your other grades were so good! That's harshness. Come back to us soon. :huggle:

Is the American grading system that different from ours? Haha, according to our systems, those are all A's! I'm sure you'd be on the honour roll!

It's too bad you have to be gone because of that C (how does that work? 2 percent down and its a B? o_o) So I'll wish you the best of luck, but for now, come back soon to us, okay? :huggle:

Tenshi_Aerith - January 25, 2007 12:50 PM (GMT)
Well you see the way it works paladin is like this

100-92 = A

91-82 =B

81-70 = C

69-60 = D

59 and below - F

and soo yeah I got as it says a 78.12 in Science, and you now I wish I lived were you did if it ment i'd be on honor roll -.-'

75+ was an A for my high school, but I guess this is the problem when every school has a different standard (not to mention we're likely from different countries... XD).

I'm sorry to hear you're grounded for nine weeks just for that C! I agree that it's rather harsh, especially with such otherwise decent grades (93 for American History! :o). Good luck weathering through it, though. :huggle:

Yep, pretty much. One mark (or sometimes half a mark) can be the decisive factor in whether your grade jumps or falls a whole level. It's why I've often seen my friends argue and fight to the teeth for that precious mark with our teacher.

Acturally Lynn, American History is by far my best and most favorite class of all, this time around though we had a some student teacher and it lowered my grade, but as soon as my actural teacher started teaching again after the student left my American History grade went up from a C to an A (My American History teacher, Mr.Sabitino aka Mr.Sab and I get along great! We're always talking to each other and he's constantly showing me off *grr...embarressed* )

Last 9 weeks I got a 104.45 in American History (it was the same way with my Ohio History I had last year although I for some reason couldn't be a 98.76...) ...That student teacher couldn't teach if his life depended on it <_<

But anyways, and ya I really wish I lived were you guys do if a 75 is an A that would make my life so wonderful :lmao:

Awww sorry to hear that you're leaving, Tenshi! I feel that your parents are being a little harsh all because of a C. That's still a passing grade. Anyway, good luck with your next semester and we'll be looking forward to your return! :huggle:
