well, in ff7, in the end of cd 2, we all know that depending of how have you treated tifa and aeris, cloud will be nice or not.

If you are very nice to aeris , then when tifa asks:

-Cloud, do you think that stars can hear us? they can see the fighting we are doing to protect them ?( something like this, i'm traducing it from the spanish version)

- I dunno....someday, i will find the answer. I will never give up..
-Maybe you are right...

Well, so, we know that cloud want to find an answer, but, to what??

In the end of the game, before the battle with sefirot cloud will say:

-The memories or aeris...our memories....we have come to tell you our memories....come on planet! give me your answer!!

so, cloud is still interested in the same answer and we still continue without knowing what is the question..

later, after cloud can see aeris hand reaching out for him, and he is supended with tifa, he said:

-I think i'm beginning to understand....

-What?

-An aswer of the planet...( finally!! he have the answer, he will continue saying:)
the Promised land...i think i can meet her....there
¡¡¡¡¡so the question was: where i can meet with aeris???!!!

( i like more the sentense in spanish, cloud said something like: an answer from the planet...the promised land...i think that if i reach this place i will be able to meet....with her.

because of this we know that cloud is fighting to find out this answer...if he really loved tifa, he would want to meet aeris? we would tell tifa this? for me is like he is saying:

tifa....i have to tell you something...i love aeris.

So, Tifa's expresion become..a little sad.it's normal, she too has understand finally what cloud ment when he said that someday he will kew the answer...

Actually, I was thinking that this "someday, I will find the answer" statement isn't related to what he says at the end of the game. If you look again, it actually answers Tifa's question (what I've bolded out).

Since the answer from the planet was about where he could meet Aerith, I assume it's saying that his desire had been to see her again and that he'd been wondering where he could find her. So yes, though he never asked the question out loud, I think it's likely he'd wanted to know where he could meet her. If so, it is a pretty personal thing so I don't see why he would have asked it out loud anyway.

I pretty much agree that Cloud's statement reveals which girl he has in his heart. Despite the fact that Aerith was physically gone, he just told a breathing, living girl (clearly in love with him) that he wanted to get to the Promised Land so that he could meet Aerith. I would have been sad too if I had been in Tifa's shoes.

In Reminiscence Cloud says, "I think I can find her there..." :P

correct me if i am wrong, but in english version, when aeris aks cloud about a date in the gold saucer, she says:

- a date!or is the first time you have one?

(something like this)

( for me, in this situation aeris was a little...i dont know how to say it but i dindt like the way of asking cloud if we had never been in a date before. But in the other version, it is different.

Aeris will say:

- ey, ey

-¿ what happens?

-¿ do you want to go out with me?

-¿ what?

-¡ a date! or do you have already one with another person?

( so, i prefer this version n_n) what do you think?
