Today I came online in the afternoon to check if there was any new Advent Children news and I found FF7AC Reunion had been updated with links to articles referring to Japanese music events. Whilst running various pieces of the articles through Babelfish I discovered that a FFVII mission theme, the FFVII main/field theme and Aerith's theme from FFVII were on the tracks lists for the events. Then I came to a piece of the article that concerns the encore theme - It says that for the encore a theme from FFAC came, an unpublished tune from FF7AC. Then it says this -

"Before already hearing from, it is favorite tune, theme of the air lith and, (the ‚§‚¡) as comfortably, the kind of tune which makes the ending think. It was good tune! (* ß ƒÖ ß *)"

Does this mean what I think it means? That Aerith's theme will appear in Advent Children afterall? :unsure:

Maybe Wilhelm could tell us if the article is indeed stating that the Advent Children theme was Aerith's :)

its true, i have it!!! :D i have the aeris theme of ff7 advent children!!

n_n its beautifull and so sad...even sader than aeris theme in ff7. This time is a piano verion, with another isntrument,..some of them soft, others strongers...ist remind me cloud and aeris, really. It begin very soft and slow...and then its apears other instrument untill the two of them mixt...its so sad...its like aeris saying: cloud, be strong.,.but cloud replies he cant..you have to her it!!!! beautifull!!
oh, and tifas theme is not in the movie :P

I heard a long time ago, Nobuo Uematsu was doing over the Main Theme, One Winged Angel and Aeris's Theme for AC. So I kinda thought they would have her theme in it all along. :lol:

Japanese website Dengeki Online had an interview with Uematsu in January 2004 where he said that he was *considering* the use of three songs from FFVII in AC: the Main Theme, One Winged Angel, and Aerith's Theme.

But Wilhelm read in the September 2004 issue of Famitsu that the only FFVII song Uematsu had decided to use in AC was a re-orchestrated version of One Winged Angel.

The unreleased AC song was "calm, and reminiscent of Aerith's Theme or Ending [was there a song in FFVII called Ending? :lol:]" according to aibo (FF7AC-R's webmistress). But no actual name or indication of what it's the theme of was given.

Hmmm... FFVIII had an Ending Theme, but FFVII didn't. :unsure: The Ending Theme of FFVII was actually World Crisis, which had Aerith's Theme in it, but I don't think aibo could be referring to that because it's really a compilation of different melodies, and much of it wouldn't be considered "calm".
