I was looking through different kinds of anime/manga lately and i came through a lot of girls that remind me of Aeris...not just in appearence but in personality as well. I know that her *most-possible* clone would be Mimi-chan and Cloud's being Matt but still I bet there's a ton more out there that remind you of them. List them here....

Why Makato?!

Because well first...she looks a lot like Aeris. I mean look at the similarites. And their personalities are overwhelming as well. Makato is the gentlest and nicest of the inner sailor senshi...even though it doesn't really show it when she's fighting. She's also looking for a guy that she can call her "own" someone she can depend on. In the anime everytime she looks at a guy she likes, she says "he reminds me of my ex-boyfriend" sound familiar?! Lol. Oooh...and she likes the arcade guy, Andy who's also a blonde-super-hunk! lmfao.

I can only see the hair similarities. I haven't watched sailor moon since I was 10 so I can't remember much.

I compare aeris with a mix of sailor mars and sailor moon. Sailor mars is flirty/aggressive (when she fought with serena for darian in the old days). Sailor moon is caring/cheerful and always helps a friend.

The most obvious Aeris clone is in Star Ocean 3. Her name escapes me, but she looked just like Sophia and died during the game.

Can't believe you guys forgot her!!! The nearest Aerith clone for me is Tachikawa Mimi from Digimon 01. From her physical outlook, you can simply relate her to pink dress, the brown hair with tresses, sadly, her eyes are caramel. But apart from the outside, Mimi is sincere, caring, cheerful and talkative. Apart from that, Ishida Yamato from the same series looks and acts a lot like Cloud as well... :D

Cheza from Wolf's Rain. Cheza is a unique creation, a literal flower maiden, created from flowers. She is cheerful, understanding, and kind, just like Aerith. Not to mention that she wears pink! :lol: Also, when it seemed as if Cheza was gone forever, you see that cycle of renewal and the message that she was never truly gone at all.

And her bond with Kiba goes beyond the natural into the supernatural, almost as if she is his soul mate. A flower maiden and a wolf as soul mates? And the wolf is searching for the flower girl? Gee, that sounds familiar. :lol:

Sakoshita Yanagi of Flame of Recca perhaps. She has one of the physical outlooks of Aerith and so as her personality, excluding being shy. Apart from that maybe, she has healing powers and Recca protects her...? :P

What about Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII? I know that they aren't physically similar but they have very open and flirtatious personalities. They both have had their first love (Seifer and Zack) and they both were able to break their new love's emotional walls (Squall and Cloud). They're both also abnormal, Aerith as an Ancient, and Rinoa as a sorceress.

Yuri from Radiata Stories reminded me so much of Aerith...a kind girl, and just the face really hooked me. As soon as I saw her I had to giggle...

ooh I have another...Sophie from Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle. She's beautiful, kind and her sweetheart is a super-blonde hunk! Well...on some parts of the movie he is.

Kanami from S-cry-ed

When I first saw Kanami, I immediately thought that she looked like a mini-Aerith. Similar green eyes, similar hair styles, and the ribbon. Physically she strongly resembles Aerith, but her personality and story also fits Aerith's. She's an orphaned young girl with a very strange ability she has yet to realize or understand until later on the show. She's completely sweet, caring, and supportived to the main character.

I've alwats thought Milly from Trigun was rather similiar to Aeris, once you get past the fact that Aeris is one of the smaller more fragile characters and Milly is strong and tall.

She's so cute! I agree with you. They are very similar in many different ways.
