For anyone who lives in the San Francisco area, another Dear Friends concert is being held there in March. From the
Game Developer's Conference:
Attention FINAL FANTASY and Nobuo Uemastu fans!
"Dear Friends: Music From FINAL FANTASY" is coming to San Francisco during GDC 2005!
Scheduled for GDC's first evening, the "Dear Friends: Music from FINAL FANTASY" symphony concert will be held at Nob Hill's Masonic Auditorium, 1111 California Street (opposite Grace Cathedral), on Monday, March 7.
Grammy Award winning conductor Arnie Roth will conduct Symphony Silicon Valley and a full chorus. Nobuo Uematsu will be in attendance, and VIP tickets will be available for a post-concert meet and greet.
This concert is only the third "Dear Friends" event in the US! Gamers will remember the first stateside "Dear Friends" concert in Los Angeles on May 10, 2004. The second is at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago on February 19, 2005.

Tickets and VIP tickets can be purchased through the Masonic Auditorium box office, located at 1111 California Street (@ Taylor), by calling 415-292-9191 or toll-free 888-849-4255 (888-TIX-4ALL), or online at www.masonicauditorium.com.
To secure your presale ticket between Tuesday, January 18 and Thursday, January 20, please use the password: Nobuo. This password is case sensitive.

I can so go to that since I live close to San Francisco but I have no one to go with who is into Final Fantasy like myself plus the tickets are not exactly on the cheap side. >_<

Well, I don't know if I can go or not, I live in San Diego, so I could make it if I tried to find a way, but I'll probably have to work, lol, I just started my job yesterday, so I dunno if I should take time off, I'll talk it over with my husband who loves FF too.
