Description: No more P.E.(!)

The_Krazie_Chick - December 22, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)
Whee! I have switched out of that hellish "class"(that I had first thing in the morning, by the way.) and now T.A. for the Library. It's pretty fun, I only got to do it for a day though(Christmas Break started yesterday. Today.) and the scanner thing was being a big meanie. On the plus side I got a cinnamon bun. Not sure why. Ohhh, I am happy to be out of P.E., no more sports that I suck at!

So, just wanted to share my good news with you all...Be happy and celebrate for meeee!!!

Haha I remember P.E Towards the end of the year it was discovered that my P.E teacher was a pedophile.... He went to jail and the rest of the year was a cake walk cause they couldn't find a teacher so basically all we did was sit around and talk, and listen to music. Hehe Though it's not really that funny...

That's how I got outta P.E though kinda sorta anyway.

^ Whoa, that's terrible.

My High School PE teacher was really weird. Just, he'd start conversations with you that made no sense, or act like you had a conversation with you when you'd never talked with him about the subject before. One time, he walked into the boys locker room and in this creepy voice said "I'm never alone...Jesus is with me."

o.o;

Guess I was the opposite in High School... By my senior year I had two Weight Training classes; 1st and 4th period...

We had block scheduling so we had 8 classes all together... 2 sets of 4(1.5 hour) classes... So that made about 3 hours of PE every other day.

Fun stuff... >=) Well except for the last month where we had to run a warrior mile... Basically halfway around the track we would detour the bleachers going up to the top then back down every isle... It was called a "warrior mile" but it was for sure WAY more than a mile.

It was a good calf work out... but doing it twice in one day was pretty killer... Although sometimes our PE instructor would let us skip the 2nd one and we would just lift weights the whole period.

Overall... PE was fun. >=) But I guess it isn't for some people... I actually like the workout aching feeling. The kind of pain where you flex your bicep and you can feel every strand of muscle in your arm, or the feeling when you try to get up in the morning and your abs hurt so much that have to roll out of bed because you can't bend your upper body without taking forever to do one lazy sit-up out of bed.

^I do like the ache after a good workout, because it feels as if all that sweat and blood made an impact... I'm still lazy, though. xD

PE was pretty fun in primary school because we would play all sorts of fun games (like carrying a pingpong ball on a spoon and running to the goal... stuff like that), but it got horribly boring in secondary school. The teachers were lazy (some didn't even bother changing into proper sports attire! HOW am I supposed to take you and the subject seriously when you're decked out in your ankle-length baju kurung?) and usually just gave us a ball to play monkey with.

What I hated most about PE was that we had to bring an extra set of clothes to change into and out of--and we didn't have lockers, so this big-ass pile's taking up all the space in my schoolbag and I have to cart it back and forth. Ugh.

[EDIT] Zelda and ffvii OWA: Wow, your teachers are... scary. XD;;

I suppose the teacher would make an impact on whether you'd like PE or not too...

I actually had a fun teacher. Coach Ninnis. Hah. He would sometimes start class off with a joke. A VERY unfunny joke. Of course we would all laugh, not because of the joke, but because after he would tell the joke he would say with his coaches lungs, diaphram and all "WHOO!!!' and start laughing. After we all started to get to know him and that habit of his, a few of my friends and I would steal away his Whoo! moment and do our own Whoo!'s and start laughing as well. Good days.

And we actually had lockers in our locker room... >_> ...lugging PE clothes around to every class would be a pretty big hassle.

I'm going to have to admit that I HATE P.E... It makes me wanna vomit. I don't like moving around or playing sports lol and I hate changing in the morning plus I hate sweating xD

Well, that's good to hear ^_^

My experience with PE sorely depends on my willingness and the teacher.

Year 7: I don't like it, but my friends make it bearable.

Year 8: YAY! I love my PE teacher that year! She actually inspire us to do our best and make the unit fun! Our relief teachers that year didn't bring out the same level of prep as her. Then she have to stop teaching us... :sad:

I dropped PE, so I can studied Japanese. My choices for that time table slot is either LOTE or PE, so I choose Japanese.
