Well I don't know how many of us are in the holiday mood yet but, I figure to try to help myself get into the Holiday spirit I would ask for recommendations on Christmas movies the good people here at the C&A Forums enjoy and to see what ones I have missed out on or to see if I have as good of taste as I would like to believe.
So what movies are must sees at this time of year?
I would like to suggest Love Actually. It has become one of my all time favorites and though I don't think you have to watch it a Christmas time to enjoy it, it is based around Christmas and the spirit of it and blah, blah, blah. In any case I think it is a very funny, heartwarming, and romantic film but because of the humor I don't feel like I have been gagged by a spoon of sugar after watching it.
I look forward to reading your suggestions.
As Christmas just so happens to be my favorite holiday, I'll list my favorite holiday films. You've probably seen a good handful of them.
1. A Christmas Story
2. It's A Wonderful Life
3. While You Were Sleeping
4. Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown! ()
5. Home Alone 1 & 2
6. Miracle on 34th Street
I have to go, but I'll think of more later.
Oh, well I have a few that I enjoy pretty much any time of the year. XDD
1. A Christmas Story. (I think just about everyone likes this movie. Nothin like teh sexy leg lamp. :plot: XXDD)
2. Elf. (This movie is so god damn funny, and both adults and children find it funny. I watched this movie in the summer. )
3. Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown. (An adorable story that I think really gives the true meaning of Christmas in a cute perspective.)
I've watched Love Actually, and it was a cute film. It had the Christmasy theme, and I love how all the stories tyed together.
I am going to have to see this Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown movie I feel silly but somehow I have never seen it so I will have to check it out. I agree with you both on the Christmas Story as well, that is a really cute story.
It is funny you mentioned While You Were Sleeping, Sadhana, because that is one of my all time favorites yet for some reason I never even thought about it for Christmas time even though it is obviously set a Christmas time  Good suggestion as was Miracle on 34th Street and well I think everyone should see It's a Wonderful Life at least once. I can't watch it every year but the story is really heartwarming. And Home Alone is another I would encourage people to see as well.
goddess_in_pink_07: Elf eh? I haven't been able to bring myself to watch that but since you recommend it I may just have to check it out.
Nice recommendations ladies, thank you!
