The style sort of reminds me of his KH1 attire, except he's looking so angelic in that light blue. It must be the color theme of this game or something, because both he and Aerith went from pink and red in KH1 to pretty blue in CC :giggle:

Also, I see that Cloud and Aerith were referred to in the scan. I wonder what it's saying on top of and underneath their names.

They both look so good in blue too. The blue brings out their eyes! :fangirl: I think Cloud looks so sexy in that scan. :wub: *glomps him*

I hope something good about them are mentioned! xD I'll see if I can translate, but I don't really know the language, but I'm sure AC.net will translate the scan soon. ^_^

Well, is it light blue? I think it's more like whitish/blue for the head/neck gear and then the rest is a darker, dull color. :P Shinra grunt uniform and all. I want a full picture of Cloud.

I would also like a translation of the text, as well. Is it anything interesting?

Basicly, repeating what I said there, Cloud has AC hair :( I actually prefer FFVII hair. And he looks kinda old for his supposed age (16?). Nonetheless, yay Cloud!

Cloud , and Aerith, and Zacky! Hmmm.....I didn't think that Aerith would look good in any other color, but I'm wrong. Aerith looks more angelic in blue, and so does Cloud. It looks peacful from all the black in AC.

Yes! I thought I was the only one who felt its strange 14 year old Cloud looked just like his 23 year old AC counterpart.

His spikey head is his standing feature in the original game. I wonder what gives?

I dunno about all this talk about Cloud's "big spike". I think it's still there, just in updated graphics. They never got rid of it, that is just how it looks realistically. Seriously, how would they pull off that huge anime spike in realistic graphics? They can't, otherwise it would look stupid.

They look pretty average to me simply because her top isn't skin tight. That and she's wearing another white shirt underneath so there's plenty of room for her chest. :lol:

I think the main spike is still pretty prominent too, 'cept they adapted it to more realistic proportions. And with all the added texture, it looks less likely to poke someone's eye out. Though I think his hair reminds me even more of a chocobo now than it did then. XD

Out of all the Cloud incarnations, I think his most "manly" was his anime/FMV!FFVII design. He got some moments in AC, but it was still way too easy putting him in a dress.

Oh well. All Cloud incarnations are infinitely more manly-looking than their doujinshi versions, in any case.

I indulge in girly!Cloud once in a while... (what? Manly, girly, in sexy lingerie or nothing at all-- I take my Cloud any way :wink: ) but I gotta admit, my favourite shot of him in AC had him looking pretty manly.

And Cloud wasn't the Cloud I love in LO. That anime was all about how awesome Zack is and Cloud was just a broken widdle boy in it regardless of how they portrayed him. Zack is love in the anime though. <3

I loved Cloud in the OVA! I thought they portrayed him very true to character, a broken and unlucky boy burdened by the troubles of his past. And he didn't talk too much, either... He'll probably be like that in CC.

I'm a fan of Cloud fighting for himself. There was a glimpse of him this way when he attacked Sephiroth in the anime (EVEN THOUGH SEPHIROTH KILLS HIMSELF WHICH IS JUST CRAP) and I liked that. But FFVII Cloud is who I fell in pixel love with in the first place. I am interested in how he is portrayed in CC since LO was an "interpretation" of the Nibelheim incident.

But Cloud did fight for himself though... Sephy was damn impressed when Cloud pulled the sword out of himself.

The Zackified one? He was quite screwed up... I rather like sky, awkward, and dorky Cloud m'self, where he's truly himself. Where he says things like "let's mosey" instead of trying to be a badass. :lmao:

I don't imagine that he'll be any different.

I liked him most in FFVII mainly because I was introduced to him through FFVII. And I didn't develop my huge bond with his character until after I beat the game a few times. So it wasn't just his screwed up Zack self. :fish: Lolz, Omnislash. <3

Well, even if it is realistic, I'd sorta expected them to keep his hair a bit longer and wilder, at least to emulate/homage his original look.

Cloud's DoC hair would have been perfect here, IMHO.

I still do not like his hair, nor his girly looks. Why does he has to made a bishounen? He was supposed to be a SOLDIER, or at least, someone who trained to be one, yet Nomura still designs him as a skinny bishounen. I am not saying that he does not have to be good looking, but making him a bishounen is too much.

Regarding the hair been more realistic. Zack's hair does not looks realistic (and Zack looks manly), why should Cloud's be the one that had changes? I am not expecting him to have as much hair as he had in FFVII (the original game), but at least something similar. His hair brushed forward, looked better than how it is now (backward), besides that was the style that gave him the spikey look.

Well I'm not quite sure what that means since his whole character is based on childhood!Cloud. That's mainly why he liked him so much in LO. Because he was fully himself before the experiments, the doubts, the death, ect. :cry:

Er...perhaps I'm the only one who likes CC Cloud. His hair looks perfectly fine to me, as does AC Cloud's hair. I like his pretty side too, so... :P
It's just a thought, but maybe Zack looks a bit more manly due to his hair color and silly grins? Not too sure why people are complaining about Cloud's hair though when no one's complaining about how "different" Tifa's or Aerith's hair looks in AC from how it originally looked in the game.

Cloud seems pretty in character to me in all the versions I've seen him in ( though the events that were portrayed in LO is something else entirely :whistle: ), so I don't prefer one Cloud over another. I'm not saying I see him as a cold and uncaring person, but I think being a bit emo has always been a part of his personality considering the things he's had to endure in life: his lonely and painful childhood, making an enemy of a psychopath like Sephiroth, losing people extremely dear to him, etc.

IMO, Cloud has always been Cloud, maybe a bit cocky when he thought he'd once been a 1st class SOLDIER...but his personality never really changed or anything. Even when he'd gotten his memories mixed up with Zack's, he was never the flirty, extremely open, and talkative kind of a guy that Zack was.

From what I've seen of Zack in CC's trailer...I think it's going to portray how different Cloud's and Zack's personalities actually are. I think the similarity Aerith saw between the two at first wasn't at all their personalities (some fans think she thought the two were alike in that sense)...but rather...the idea that Cloud and Zack were both in SOLDIER and the idea that fate had brought Cloud to her the same way it had brought Zack to her, etc. After all, she did mention several times how different Cloud and Zack were, personality-wise, yes?

I beg to differ. Who is "fully oneself" based on just our childhood? It's with the growth, the experiences in life... in Cloud's case, deaths and lies.. that shaped his character, and made him "Cloud" =D

And yet one of Cloud's most important wishes was his childhood wish which was emphasized heavily in the game, and especially on disk 2...

Cloud in his most innocent state where he was the most "normal", and one of my favorites. He was innocent, wanting to become a SOLDIER to prove himself and be like Sephiroth. Where he had a "normal" life and wasn't screwed up. Cloud just had a simple wish, and all those things had to happen to him...

Actually, he wasn't even qualified as a SOLDIER, although it seems a person can get another try.

Cloud in this time, is just a regular grunt.
