I don't know anything about making videos and I don't pretend to, so I can't really comment on that aspect of this. I just thought it was particularly funny that they changed Cloud's lines so that he was talking about how he loves Tifa, and then calling the thing a trailer for their love story. I would've thought it was silly though had the same thing been done for Cloud and Aerith.

It's a fan made video. It was made by fans of the couple for fans of the couple. It wasn't made to spite Cleris fans, it was made for enjoyment. It didn't say it wasn't canon. I think we should leave fan videos alone. Unless they said 'this is canon', then it's just made as a dream for fans, not as truth or proof.

It makes me smile because I know this is exactly what Cloti fans had been praying for to happen in AC...and they didn't get it. Fans are allowed to dream, so just let them be.

Fan-made videos. Fans do whatever they like. I've seen plenty of them from our group too. So, I'd leave them alone. The voices were good, though.

Also what they thought would happen in DC. Only.......it didn't happen. :whistle:

OHH HEEEELLLLLLLL NO! I like the background music though lol. Seriously, the video wasn't that bad, but the fact that it was Cloti just gave me goose bumps. I want a Cleris vid put together like that please =] lol. I also like how they used FFVIII's Rinoa and Squall's banner thing where they changed it to Tifa and Cloud (at the end), I mean I don't like the idea of Tifa and Cloud, but I like the creativity.
Oh and by the way, that beautiful serene smile made by Cloud is TOWARDS and FOR Aeris =] :cleris:. :fangirl:

BTW...I've only seen the english version of AC once so I can't quite recall the English voices...but in this FMV, the only fan-dubbed parts were Cloud's, correct?

But really, its actually kinda pitiful...Cloti would want someone like that to happen, yet it never will...:giggle: They need Cloud to say "I LURVE J00 TIFUH" in order to get their point across. Real love doesn't need "I LOVE YOU" (even though their's NOTHING wrong with saying it) in order for people to know their loved.

I will admit, I wouldn't mind seeing a cleris vid being put together like that vid. I know, we wouldn't need a vid like that to make use feel good about cleris, but it would be really cute, ne? :fangirl:

Agreed. It doesn't matter to me what Clotis do with their time. I just don't care. But still, it just came off as kind of silly. So I don't think I'd like a Cleris one either. Besides, I like how SE develops their relationship subtlely throughout the game, not like in this video where the story of this trailer seems to be "Cloud will always love Tifa."

Hey, I actually thought that was a pretty good vid. Sure, Cloud would never come right out say "I love you" like that, and he certainly wouldn't have told Aeris about always loving Tifa, but at least the music was nice. :P

I don't think we would ever need a Cleris trailer. The original trailers were really really Cleris-y for me. We don't need to change lines or anything like that because...well, to me, they already know they love each other. Just because they never say it, doesn't mean that they don't feel it. Every moment Cloud sees Aerith throughout the movie, you can always see just a different look in his eyes, a little bit of hope each time he sees Aerith. In scenes with Tifa, you always see Cloud looking down, or away...but when you see the "hand reach" scene, where Aerith gives him help to go up/fly you can just see something in his eyes you don't see any other time, except when he's thinking of Aerith. So yeah, thats Cleris enough for me. I don't need a video like that to show Cloud and Aerith love each other. Movie/trailers were proof enough.

It wasn't that bad of a trailer though. It really did scream that they were desperate to me. It made me laugh XD Good music though! Have to give them some type of credit for trying....!

As my duty of being a "nice" Cleris, I will not give any other kind of critism besides constructive, and my pairing preference will not be present in my review.

The Cloud voice actor was nice, some parts were a little breath-y. I won't say that it makes a nice Cloud (Cloud always had a lower voice in my opinion...) but it was good. Nice use of clips and effects, and also very pretty music. It was a nice job, really.

I thought it was cute! The voice acting fit, surprisingly, the background music was really nice (anyone know what the song is? I'm tempted to download it), and it was put together really well. My biggest beef is that Cloud would never be so direct with his feelings - EVER. But other than that, thumbs up to the creator.
