In the flashbacks we see a lot of Vincent and Lucrecia together. But some of the scenes show something chilling. When Hojo asked Lucrecia if she was using Vincent as an experiment, do you think she trying to protect him or use him to prove the exsistance of Choas? I think in some sense Lucrecia was trying to protect Vincent from Hojo, because I think he would've used Vincent's dead body to carry out twisted expiriments. I think when Lucrecia placed the Choas gene within Vincent, she thought it would save him.
