Daydreamer, that was so sad. Agh... *sniffle*
Well, this is what brings a tear to my eye. A powerful ending to a powerful movie.
Schindler's List (spoliers)Just in case you haven't seen the movie, but you don't care about being spoiled...
[Spoilers]: This Nazi named Schindler owned a factory in Germany during WWII that made and sold supplies to the German army. So that he wouldn't have to pay his workers wages, he would buy Jews on their way to concentration camps so that they could come work for him. While he started off only doing it for business, over the course of the movie, he starts buying more and more Jews to save their lives. He ends up spending his entire fortune making a list of thousands of Jews he buys from the concentration camps in order to save them. In this last scene, the war in Germany is now over. Schindler has to flee because he would be considered a war profiteer, and his workers say goodbye to him. It's a wonderful film by Steven Speilberg (who accepted no paycheck for making it), and it's a true story.
