Well today I went to the shop to get some milk and as I was passing the magazine shelves a certain familar blonde haired blue eyed someone caught my eye. Stopping to take a better and closer look I found that Cloud was gracing the front page of a new magazine called Neo with his presence, and beside him was the Advent Children logo and the words " FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN Exclusive interview and images from the staggering CG-movie" :) Since I had read in the Tifa x Cloud club over at Overdose Delusion that Neo had called Cloud and Aeris lovers I decided to buy the mag for myself to find out if this was true.

From the mag quotes that I think are noteworthy -

" Apart from the sublime gameplay, FFVII offered an experience that touched gamers like no other title before it, through its development of themes on the value of life, and the tragedy of death that came in the shape of the murder of Aerith, the woman Cloud loved"

" The game ended with Cloud confronting and defeating Sephiroth, avenging the death of Aerith in the process"

Then under the section they had on characters titled " Holding Out For A Hero" ( :lol:) the ones that caught my eye were -

" Cloud Strife, who is still haunted by the death of Aeris"

Then after a few words about Barret -

Tifa Lockheart, who is still pining for Cloud

Finally the lovers part

Cloud's lover Aeris

I don't know how much weight these quotes hold, they did make a mistake by saying Aerith died in the church in the same line they say they are lovers (:blink:) but other than that all the other quotes seem pretty solid and just because they made a mistake about where she died doesn't mean they were wrong on everything else does it? :unsure: Maybe it'd be best to take them with a pinch of salt though ;)

Even so despite the mistake this is the second English speaking magazine that I know of that mentions Aerith as Cloud's love interest, the other being the one Seii made a topic about and I just think it's nice that there are other magazines that favour and acknowledge her as Cloud's love interest :)

The mag is so sweet, am gonna ask me friend to buy me one! Fury, don't mind my questions but are there loads of pics in there? How many pages worth of AC goodies? What's the hmm say volume etc (1 i supposed seeing it's new)

Ok... other than the 'Tifa 'pining' for Cloud' bit, that article is music to my ears after a whole week of feeling stressed :D :) :lol: ;) .

In fact I bought a magazine (also with a picture of Cloud on the cover), it's called Comic King which is the chinese version of the Malaysian magazine' Gempak'( a magazine which features info of all sorts of comics along with comics done by local artists etc...) and Kreko (something similar to 'Gempak' but better) both magazines are in Malay though. :P

I haven't had it translated though but the only info I could 'get' from it was a chinese translation to the character profiles of the ones appearing in Advent Children and
pictures of various scenes from the movie. Sadly none of Cloud and Aerith in the flower field , but it has a pic of Cloud holding Tifa in Aerith's church. :(
