Title: Freedom Forever
Description: A V For Vendetta club

BlackWind - November 8, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
V For Vendetta is such an amazing movie, it deserves its own club! The movie had a great storyline, and some wonderful points about war and government. V was quite the character, doing the things he did in such a way that made you want to watch the movie again and again.

I love the movie, although I love the graphic novel a bit more. Both are wonderful, however, and I'd like to join. ^_^

Awesomeness.

Don't we all wish we could give speeches this awesome as an introduction?

Zelda - November 13, 2006 12:23 AM (GMT)
I'm going to admit, the "V Speech" makes me squirm everytime I see it. Especially with all the hand motions. It's not so bad if I don't think of comic!V, but still. ^^;

[SPOILERS FOR THE END OF THE COMIC]

I kind of wish in the movie they kept in the whole part about Evee becoming V. I always thought that was hardcore. <3

Oh my invisible God, thank you for posting that, it IS awesome. I'm actually working on memorizing that, just for the helluvit.
I've yet to read the graphic novel.... I'm probably going to borrow it from a friend. I hear it's quite differant from the movie... Like, in the begining, Evee is a.. Erm, prostitute, correct?

Well, she tries to be, but the first man she propositions is a Fingerman. Her career as a hooker pretty much ends there. There's only one person she has sex with in the GN.

Yeah, it is different. For example, V, while being the protagonist, is certainly no hero. They kind of cleaned him up in the movie, when in the GN you are even less sure if you should even be rooting for V. The relationship between him and Evee is also touched upon a little more.
