Hi! my name is Ash.

i've been an FF fan since 1999, and 7 is the game that got me hooked. And, as funny as it may seem, i hadn't even begun playing the game when i knew that i would support the Cloud/Aeris pairing: all i had to to was look at the character descriptions and i somehow knew they were meant to be! lol... :) Aeris is my absolute fave character ever, and Cloud is a close second. I love this pairing, and will forever stand by it!

I also post on numerous forums within the FF/KH community, and you can almost always find me under the same name, PuppyNoelle. :aeris:

Lovely introduction, and I completely felt the same way too when I flipped through FFVII's game booklet. There's something about the Cloud/Aerith pairing that's very traditional, especially in their era when male characters usually held the bodyguard role. Now the lines are more blurred between who protects whom, and who does the physical fighting.

Of course, the awesome thing about Cleris is that they're traditional, and yet so unique/"modern" too. Protector!Cloud/protected!Aerith can just as easily be turned around. :cleris:

Hey there, Ash. Yeah, I agree with what you had to say about how the characters just seemed like they were meant to be before they really met. I felt the same way when I saw Aerith's face in the intro and then Cloud's little flip off the train at the Mako Reactor.
