CG wants to know if the girl that's shown in all the FFXIII art and screens has a name yet. :ermm: I heard rumors about her name but of course rumors are just horrible and pointless... But yeah, anyone happen to know/wanna talk about it?

...but I've heard that her name is Lightning or something of the sorts. Is that the rumor you're referring to, Kaldea? So is the guy's name really Natch, then?

I'm behind on the FFXIII news too. :cry: I heard her name was Lightning but everyone is saying that's a rumor (and I don't doubt that at all since I would have thought that they came up with a Japanese name at first). And I haven't even heard that the guy had a name. :lol: So it's Natch? CG thinks they are just playing darts with a dictionary with these names now.

Well, Freya wanted to claim Natch from FFXIII as her bishie...so I added her to the list.

I honestly doubt either of the names have been confirmed. I've never heard of "Natch" before and "Lightning" is just because the game screens have shown that in the traditional spot of where the character's name is supposed to be.

Although if that really is her name, it's got to be one of the sillier names I've heard in a while. o_o

If I'm remembering this all right, Lighting isn't her name, Natch is just a nickname and not official, and she might not even be the main character. I'll try and find my EGM to confirm, but I think that's it.

I have nothing against her, but I was really looking forward to a heroine with a complete new design. I thought she looked too much like...a female version of Cloud. Guess I still have some room for hope? *crosses fingers*

Natch *might* be real, it's hard because I remember so many nicknames flying around that I forgot if it was actually real or not. The girl doesn't have a name yet, though, I know that.

I hope they do make her the main character. Don't whimp out on me, Nomura!

Bah. There's gonna be three FFXIII games, they might as well give one to her.

CG kinda wants a kick ass female main character that is angsty yet not hung up on men/a man. So basically, I want a character mix between Cloud, Squall and meself. :whistle: CG's sick of the Yuna's and Rinoa's of the FF world. They can keep the bouncy girls if Square keeps them from having TOO much screentime. >_<

Oh, and CG craves a love triangle with two men and one woman. :tard: None of this two girls going after the clueless man crap.
