Title: Ending *spoilers*
Description: Soooo confused

Okay, so after you collect 3 G-reports, you get this secret ending where they show you "dead" Weiss in some underground cave just beneath Midgar and then Gackt appears in some giant blue orb, this is where I'm just soooo confused. Who is Gackt? Why did he appear? And why does he have a Sephiroth looking wing, (Seph has it on his right side) but Gackt has it on his left. Whhatttsss going on? Oh ya, what happened to that creepy Hojo?

He's Genesis. A SOLDIER created before Sephiroth.

He supposedly has a role in Crisis Core.

And yeah, I was repulsed that he has a wing (and Angeal too, in CC), it makes Sephiroth... not so special.

LOL let's just remember that Sephy always had the wing first, no matter what SOLDIER was created first. They wouldn't have gotten that idea for those other two had they not put one on Sephy first ^_^

*squee* Gackt... :fangirl:

I think it's either Sephiroth in a reincarnated form or it's Nero the Sable. The reason I think it could be Nero the Sable is because you hear him say "my brother" during gameplay you always hear Nero say that Weiss loved him like a brother. You guys think that Weiss and Nero are actually brothers? It sounds real stupid but I can't help but wonder that.

A friend of mine who has the Japanese version said their story was revealed in the Multi-player mode, you know, where you fight DGs and WROs in the internet.

She said that Nero and Weiss had the same mother. So they're half-brothers.

I didn't really like the ending of DoC :ermm: I guess it's cause I didn't get the ending to well. Did Vincent move on with his life or what?

Oh, but I did like the secret ending!

Before? I thought JENOVA project was their first experiment involving humans-turned-winged-freaks.

It's really up to you. To me it's a lot like Aerith forgiving Cloud and Cloud learning how to live again without overwhelming pain. I prefer the same type of outcome for Vincent. ^_^

No, it was an attempt to ressurect the Cetra race through natural born means. Remember, back then no one knew, not even the head of the project, what Jenova really is.

I think it was continued regardless to normal people (aka SOLDIER candidates) because the Jenova cells have a strong regeneration ability.

Now we don't know if Angeal or Genesis were given Jenova cells as well. Even though it's most likely.

And in a way, Vincent assuring Lucrecia that she's forgiven herself. It's a really nice dynamic, really.

Really? If Shinra was trying to bring back the Cetra race how would they've gotten the Cetra DNA for the JENOVA Project. The only Cetra who was left before the JENOVA Project started was Iflana, the mother of Aeris. But I'm sure that we all know what sick jerk Hojo would do? He would've hunted down Iflana for the Cetra DNA, I don't if there were anymore Cetra on Gaia.

ShinRa mistaken Jenova as an Ancient/Cetra. Professor Gast found out a little too late, left and met Ilfana. The project went to Hojo, who does a lot of nutty things with it, not many people think he was a good replacement, based from Sephiroth and Vincent's opinion on the man.

By the time Aerith was born, she and her mother were captured by Hojo. Ilfana died from the experiments, but lived long enough to bring Aerith to safety.

Aerith was what the ShinRa was after at first, then Sephiroth came back into the picture.

Hope that helps.
