I hoarded all the donation items I ever got since I joined in 2003 (I was a n00b then so I had no idea what the minis were when they were cheap) and I FINALLY had enough saved for my precious angelic minis. I started selling most of my stuff including my seal/penguin slippers, winged anklets, horns of the demon, devil tail, every other stupid donation item I had, etc. when one guy came to me and told me he would trade me for all my stuff for his damn Black Bow Tie. My offer was a little less than what people would look for to sell minis, but the bow tie was apparently worth the same amount as the minis and I could just trade someone for them. I looked at all the price guides and he was right. They all said the bow tie was worth 8 million - the same price as minis. I asked him if the bow tie was easy to sell and he said yeah. So I traded him 99% of my inventory for the bow tie. What happens next? NO ONE WANTS THE BOW TIE AND NO ONE WOULD PAY MORE THAN 4 MILLION FOR IT. To add more of an insult, the bow tie is equipable only by male avatars!

So yeah, all the rich people on Gaia knew about this guy but they just said "Good luck" when I told them what happened and went on their way when I spent three damn years saving up for minis and I lose everything. I ended up getting my devil tail back for the stupid bow tie, but I had to add even more of my items to the offer for it. :cry: I would start a "DONATE TO ME" thread in the Charity section, but honestly no one ever donates, nor do I have the time online to bump a thread no one cares about.

CG will NEVER get minis. That is all she wants on Gaia. She would be quite happy if minis were the only item she had. :cry:
