For those of you who don't know what Skype is, it's basically a FREE phone service (up to 1 year) where you can make calls for free to other Skype users -- from your computer -- or call outside lines or mobiles for little or no fee. I recently just joined and it's SO COOL!!

Of course, you need to have a microphone or some kind of headset to use it. It's easy to install, compatible with almost all computers, and it's free and safe to use. I fell in love with it.

Eh...I have it but I don't like talking to people with it really (kinda defeats the purpose, I know). The main reason is that most people can't understand me, apparently I speak too fast and it's difficult enough for foreginers to understand the Scottish accent. It's a good file sharere though, can send large files REALLY quickly compared to things like msn, AIM etc.

I like how you can send files to each other so quickly. Yesterday me and m friend were taking weird pictures of ourselves and did our makeup like bloody vampires and sent them to people over Skype.
