Description: Pan-tastic!

Okay, I have just been exposed to the delicious world of Yakitate Japan, and now I'm addicted! Uni assignments? Work? Deadlines? All insignificant in the face of Yakitate Japan!! It's so horribly addictive and absolutely hilarious! Once you start watching, you're hooked. Argh! The character's reactions after eating the bread just cracks me up.
Does anybody else like this series?? I can't be the only fan here! :fangirl:

:lmao:
I have no idea what Yakitate Japan is, but it sounds extremely amusing.
Is it an anime or something? A real-life TV series?
Maybe I'm just on a high or something, but the name made me giggle

:lmao:
Oh dear, my bad! Yakitate Japan is a manga and anime series, about bread.

It basically follows the adventures of Azuma Kazuma, an aspiring baker who posesses Solar Hands, which allows the bread he makes to ferment quickly and becomes really delicious. (don't ask)
It's just so much crack. So much love! xDD Absolutely hilarious. I love the reactions people get when eating the bread. In the episode I just watched, two people died and went to heaven from eating the extremely super delicious bread. :lmao:

HOMAI...an addictive anime about bread... :lmao:
I'm getting really strong Azumanga Daioh vibes from what you've described, not that that anime focused on soft, delicous baked bread or anything.
For sure, I'll have to look into it sometime.

Love this anime(Even though its considered Shoujo)...
Right when you thinnk he can't create a better bread... he does. And the reactioons of those eating the bread are really funny, I have to admit. It's probably the best thing about the series.
MELLOOOOOOON!
Great stuff. I recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor. =)

Do look into it, it's just as crack-tastic as Azumanga Daioh or Ouran. :lmao: Only a lot more bread-oriented. The power of Yakitate Japan made me go to the bakery to buy bread today. :hide:

Really??? I thought it was shonen. There's not much romance in it or anything, unless you consider love for bread...
That made me die laughing!! :lmao: And YAKISOBA DOOOGGG~!!! :lmao: Kuroyanagi is somuchlove! <3

Wow! A Yakitate Japan lover too!!! To be honest, I learned a lot of baking tips from this anime!!! Haha, is there really, 'solar hands' or 'solar gauntlets'? :P

Moi! I've loved it from the days I first discovered the group that used to scanlate it, Snoopy Cool. I love baking, so my Yaki love came easily to me, methinks. :D
I love the anime and manga because it is just so SILLY and refuses to take itself seriously for long. That and the utter lack of a love story (well, except for Kai), which makes it more unique than all the other mangas where the person climbs up and achieves his dream and the perfect girl/guy

I actually watched the episode of three Doms being attacked by Nobel Gundam. >.>
And yes, that happened when those three bakers ate that bread. ^0^
So yeah, I think I'll join. This anime is crack, but in a good way.

I've only read the manga, I haven't seen the anime.....didnt know they made it INTO an anime...shows how much I pay attention! LOL!
Anyway, as far as the manga goes, I LOVE it! The girls are super cute and Azuma is just to die for!
XD Make bread that a horse will eat....hehehe!
