I'm in ^_^ I think Ashe is very pretty and I love her skirt she wears. I'm like gonna steal it off her. XD and Nice Arts. ^_^
Anti-R - October 12, 2006 03:36 PM (GMT)
I wanna steal her boots. >.> <.< Looks cool.
Welcome and thank you, BTW.
Kaldea - October 12, 2006 06:16 PM (GMT)
I KNOW I shall like her so I'll join, yus. And I want her top. The skirt is just...belt size-ish. >_< But I want her top!
Anti-R - October 13, 2006 12:00 AM (GMT)
Maybe it's just me, but the skirt doesn't look too bad at all. XD Even when it's windy and stuff (and it's bright pink! Yayness~!).
Her costume somehow invokes the feeling of revealing, but not really and it covers her pretty well. Which is downright awesome work by the character designer.
And CG shall have her top. Glad you could join us. XD
Athena/Fuijin - October 14, 2006 10:22 PM (GMT)
Well cout me in!Ashe is the coolest blonde FF chick ever :P (Oh,her outfit is so hot)
Anti-R - October 16, 2006 09:03 AM (GMT)

"Who would be next?!"
^ That's when I knew I loved Ashe. I always have her as my party leader, as an axeman. (er, woman)
Sefie - December 2, 2006 02:03 AM (GMT)
Whee! Ashe club! Where has THIS been?
Ashe is most DEFINATLY my fave character! I'm not all that far into the game, so I probably won't pop in here very much to avoid spoilers, but I just wanted to join.
Be back when I finish! BBWIF!
Key - December 3, 2006 05:09 PM (GMT)

Member List is updated! Thanks for joining everyone!
FF_Goddess - December 7, 2006 05:11 PM (GMT)
*Joins* I didn't know if I would like Ashe very much, but, after I started playing FFXII, I sorta like the whole emo heroine thing. ^_^ It's pretty heartbreaking, watching her interact with Rasler's spirit. :cray:
Anti-R - December 7, 2006 11:41 PM (GMT)
FF_G has join us... happiness!

That's true. SE's been barraging us with the guys. It's about time for an angsty main heroine, IMHO.
FF_Goddess - December 8, 2006 01:34 AM (GMT)
Yeah... Garnet was a little bit emo at times, but not like Ashe. And it looks like we may get a female version of Cloud in FFXIII. :P
Sefie - January 25, 2007 03:39 AM (GMT)
I wouldn't call Ashe "emo". She's more like, determined and quiet. She keeps her feelings to herself mostly, but she never lets any depression or anything keep her down. She's always worried about Dalmasca and just keeps fighting on.

*JOY* I LOVE her already. SO MUCH.
Emo was not a word I would use to describe Ashe at all. Determined is more like it. She never showed anything other than love for her country or Rasler, and even then she wasn't emo about it. She's incredibly strong and I admire her. Her personality is something I wish I could attain myself one day.
If only more annoying characters were a touch like her. :lmao:
Sefie - January 25, 2007 04:09 AM (GMT)
Thanks for re-typing my post CG :P
Kaldea - January 25, 2007 11:19 AM (GMT)
YOU ARE WELCOME.
It was mainly to get an extra post so I could join teh 1,000 Club j00 know. :fish:
FF_Goddess - January 25, 2007 03:55 PM (GMT)
Well, it depends on what your definition of emo is. To me, emo means that someone is tragic, depressed, or pining. Is Ashe pining for Rasler? You bet. :P
Kaldea - January 25, 2007 05:16 PM (GMT)
With the type of "emo" I'm talking about, emo to me is being outward with your own "selfish" emotions to get attention from others. Kinda like constantly being over outwardly depressed because some guy you like isn't around enough or because he doesn't like you. And you still do it even when others feel awkward about it. Bit of an example I guess.
You can still be obviously in love and not be emo in my opinion. I guess I consider it to be a negative thing. I don't think being happily in love would fit under my interpretation of the word. ^_^
Anti-R - January 25, 2007 05:43 PM (GMT)
I can call Ashe angst ridden... but not an emo. For me, emo are those characters who sit in the dark and nurse their angry energies for the rest of the world to pick up. Ashe was... quite honest with her feelings, even if she wasn't really loud about it.
FF_Goddess - January 25, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
Is there an official definition for "emo"? :lmao:
Yeah, anyways, going with the definitions of emo that you guys are using, I would say she isn't emo. I just saw her as missing Rasler and pining for him, feeling sad. To me, that was emo.
Kaldea - January 25, 2007 06:31 PM (GMT)
Yeah, there are many ways to determine what is emo. Emo at it's basic level is "emotional" so you're right as well.
Everyone has their emo moments. Some more than others. But not me, nope nope.
FF_Goddess - January 25, 2007 06:46 PM (GMT)
Liar. :tard:
Okay, so there is no official definition of "emo", so I'm not really wrong and not really right. :ermm: Alrighty then. :lmao:
Sefie - January 26, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
Lol, I wouldn't even call her your definition! I never saw her to be "pining". Mourning yeah, and missing, but pining envokes a much weaker image.
FF_Goddess - January 26, 2007 02:43 AM (GMT)
I looked up the word "pine" and the definitions are...
to yearn deeply; suffer with longing; long painfully
to suffer grief or regret over
painful longing
These are the definitions I would apply to "pine" and its association with Ashe. I feel she longs and yearns for Rasler. :P
Sefie - January 26, 2007 02:44 AM (GMT)
A'ight, fair enough
Ashe - March 10, 2007 02:28 AM (GMT)
It's a shame Rasler died so early on in the game, but at least it enforces the age old "love is strong even after death" story that Square likes to use.
I wish to join because I love Ashe, hence my username XD
Anti-R - March 10, 2007 02:47 AM (GMT)
Hey, welcome aboard, Ashe. ^^
Adrienna - March 11, 2007 08:12 PM (GMT)
Yay, an Ashe Fanclub!
*Grins.*
Definitely joining this one, if you don't mind!
I want her clothes...and, admittedly, her dead husband. Rasler was pretty darn good looking, and seemed like a good guy.
*Laughs.*
But hey, I'll stick with Reks, then...but he died, too!
*Cries.*

me too. FFXII seems to be angry at their extra bishies. They killed them off with no prejudice. T.T

Wingless - April 4, 2007 07:48 AM (GMT)
Goodness, I can't believe I haven't wandered into this yet.
I'm crazy about Ashe. May I join, Anti-R?
I think it's pretty awesome that XII tackles issues of death in war, and how death affects the people who are left. It's a theme that is sometimes forgotten in many games about similar topics. I think that's why Ashe is so fascinating for me, because despite her terrible losses, she has risen to the top and still has passion and spirit. I love how much personal strength of character she has, and at times how rash she can be. I think SE created a complex personality when they thought of her; she is at times very noble and admirable and at other times she makes mistakes or judgments before thinking her actions through. Watching her mature throughout the game is one of its major draws for me.
Plus, anything Ashe and Rasler rocks, but that's a whole different story. :P
Anti-R - April 5, 2007 10:22 PM (GMT)
Welcome to the club, and I agree on your opinion on the whole thing. XD
Sefie - April 6, 2007 08:31 AM (GMT)
So, I totally realize that this has nothing to do with Ashe's rad personality or story or anything..but the other day I beat Ahriman(the boss in Sochen' cave) and Ashe was the only party member who made it through the entire length of the battle! She was in my first party, and one of the remaining three standing xD
Materia Thief - April 6, 2007 08:39 AM (GMT)
Have I joined yet? No? D'oh! Joining now. XD
I love Ashe's personality and sheer iron will. O:
Anti-R - April 7, 2007 10:07 PM (GMT)
Welcome to the club, MT. XD
@Sefie: Well statswise, Ashe is the strongest female among the three, physically and almost magically. Which likely says a lot.
