After hearing many good things about the drama, I decided to give it and the manhwa a try. The tale is cliche: a commoner marries into the Royal Family of Korea, complete with "I'm a bad ass, uber sexy" crown prince. :D

Who else likes this? I'm in volume 3 of the manga and episode 4 of the drama, and so far I have to say I like the manga better. Chae Gyung's shocked expressions are priceless, I love how the manhwaga draws them. :D

I've seen the entire drama and read some of the manhwa. Definitely agree on manhwa!Chaegyung having the most funky expressions.

The drama is how I was first exposed to Goong though, so I prefer it over the manhwa. It was such an emotional roller coaster! Haha, the entire "HURRY AND GET ON WITH IT" bits made my head spin. Even though Shin was such a jerk to Chaegyung through most of the beginning (and hell, even some parts of the end), I was totally cheering him on. Yul's cool but man... he needs to learn to back off, just a bit. Way too crowding!
