I didn't see a MGS thread here, so I thought I might start one.

I personally perfere Metal Gear Solid "Sons of liberty" and Metal Gear Solid "Snake Eater". I was very young when I first saw the first MG, but I still have a pretty good idea about it.

Metal Gear Solid SOL, was very lovely. I liked Jack. He was very attractive, and I couldn't get enough of him and Rose. I'm pretty faint with the story, but I remember bits of it. Not familiar with the story, but I do remember some of the characters. Fortune with her extremely massive gun, and psychic powers was pretty cool too.
The most I remember is that Rose and Jack were in a relationship..... and, didn't Jack end of fighting his father, or something at the end? I remember it being sad. :unsure: Sorry If I'm really inaccurate.

Metal Gear Solid :Snake Eater: Now, I'm well informed here! I watched like, 95% of the game. All the bosses were pretty amazing, but quite annoying. <_< The story was pretty good, and I liked The Boss's and Snake's relationship..... And, the ending was very, tear jerking indeed. But, I LOVED how you fought The Boss..... she wore white and it was totally awesome.
I kinda didn't like EVA.... When I found out about what her true intensions were, I was like "what a b!tch." Seducing Snake like that.... :no: hey, Snake isn't a guy you can just strip down in front of, and expect him to fall for you.... Sorry EVA, he's not that easy to win.

I don't know why, but Snake is just a total charmer. Call me crazy, I couldn't help but like him loads. :fangirl: I mean, even though he can be kinda arrogent at times, but that just makes me love him that much more! He's so sly and smooth. Not to mention total BAD ASS!!
My personal favorite would have to be Sniper Wolf. Ever since I saw her, I just found her really interesting. She was just soooo..... cool. She was one of those "dangerous beauty's" that just really sparked my interest. Even though she was killed, and I was very upset. >__>

Now, we all know about the new MGS for PS3, and I'm very curious. But, I didn't like the fact that Snake was old.... <_< kinda disappointed there. But, since it looks like the stories going to take place in the future, its pretty much hows its going to be. I'd love to see how the plot will work out, and all the characters I'm simply dieing to know more.

And yes, I love MGS. I was helping my dad out when we - my sisters and I - played it around 1999 or something. I remember crawling for claymores and taking down Sniper Wolf, plus overdosing on pentazemin. :lmao:

It's only recently I've taken a liking to MGS2. I'm collecting dog tags - and I love the cool items you get from it. Raiden + brown wig = kewlnezz. XD I'm aiming to finish hard with Stealth. :P

And I'm loving the new MGS4 trailers! I can't find any good ones though - I have to wait for (SEVEN!) hours to download one, and the fastest computer here plays the trailer so freaking slow. .___.

I'm a little disappointed with Raiden's design. They were supposed to make him more masculine and all, but couldn't they have cut down a little with the ninja-ness? And those weird heels in his boots make me shudder. Plus, he looks a little scary.

I suck at MGS games as much as I suck at Megaman games. And that sucks.

The only one I've beaten (with great struggle) was MGS3. It's good to start off the series with that one because it's a prequel and all, right? Anyway, I didn't like the bosses either. Especially that one where she's hiding in the fields and you don't know where she is. I don't remember the name. I really like MGS' Tactical Espionage Action, but sometimes I get impatient and forget to hide. :ninja:

Snake's an old fogey in MGS4. I've been hearing that Snake is so detailed that his moustache takes as many bytes as one soldier in the previous MGS games. Ahaha! :lol:

Yeah! Besides, they give you some really good kill-'em-all weapons, and you barely use them. Every time I see a guard, I have an urge to go up and kill him with a Nikita/Stinger/RGB5. The only time in MGS2 you could really use your guns (AK-74u and M4, I mean, 'cuz rifles = love) freely was near the end, with the Arsenal Tengu. >__O They were fun, by the way - much better than those stiff guards you see, who don't really do a lot of cool things.

The power of the PS3. We are so not worthy.

I don't mind him being an old fogey. (gaspness) Gives a sense of reality - especially with FOXDIE and all. I still feel really anxious about his health - if he dies, I know I'm going to be crying really hard.

By the way, does anyone else think that David Hayter's voice is sooo hot? (Last time I checked, Solid Snake's real name equals David too. :o )

OH, I was totally drooling over Raiden....:wub: *ish Raiden fangirl* Oh my goodness, I thought he was freakin hot. I think they did a wicked job on his extremely, awesome ninja suit. Dang. :shifty: I can't WAIT to see more of him though.... oh goody gosh. :woot: I'm so sorry, I can't contain my fangirlness!!! :fangirl: *snuggles Raiden plushy* He's Teh secks definately. Sigh, too bad Rose go to him first... <_<

Oh, I see. His ninja suit is cool and all, but I was mildly scared at the uh, really obvious change. And the fact that his blood is white now, which makes his face so scarily pale. When the visor over his eyes slid away, I was terrified at seeing his eyes.

But yes. I do love him. :P
