I'm wondering if anyone know this anime/manga. It's slightly old. I think the anime only aired for about 6~8 years (not sure) and the manga ended just a few years ago (again, not sure). It's one of those mystery, detective anime/mangas. Its popularity ties (or I guess not much) with another same kind of show, "Detective Conan" or "Case Closed" in English. By the way, does anyone have the soundtrack(s) of this anime? I'm desperately looking for them.

It's one of my favorites. I like both Detective Conan and Kindaichi. But Kindaichi...I guess you can say has more of those emotional moments. There were many times where I cried in some of the episodes because I feel sorry for the murderer and for some other reasons. The difference I guess from Conan is that, a lot of the murderers seem to end up dying, especially in the long cases, by killing themselves in the end or something. And that's really sad. I'm thinking Conan only had one of the murderers died in the end.

My favorite character would have to be Kindaichi. He acts so stupid when he supposedly has an IQ of 160 or something. He's only smart when he's solving cases. And I love the gap between that. One scene he's acting all goofy and the next, once the killing starts, he has this serious face on him.

So Kindaichi fans! Let us talk!! ...er...I hope.
