Could I join please? I've only played Project Zero 1, but I loved it to death (no pun intended). The camera weapon is amazingly unique, and the atmosphere of the game is very creepy. Even the friendly sprits give you a fright sometimes. I think it can take on Silent Hill for it's creepiness. I'm certainly gonna look for these games, but there's quite a few now. Any recommendations on which one is best?

Welcome Guys :gift: and as for my favorite I would say FFI, cause Kirie is just my most favorite enemy girl ever XD and Mafyu was smexy hawt  but I'll just atmit one thing Miku was just stupid lol. As for the worst, I would say FFII, cause I just didn't like the Twin thing :ermm:
FFIII was cool, Rika was allitle pretty, I love the tattos she has :fangirl:

Gee sorry,I just didn't know what else to say.
About Fatal Frame,Kirie is also one of my favorite villains. FFII was my favorite game, even though Mio and Mayu did get on my nerves a lot of times. Like when Mayu disappears and you have to find her.

I'd love to join!
I think the imagery in the Fatal Frame games are absolutely gorgeous and the research is extremely well done. My favorite would have to be Fatal Frame 2, although I have yet to play Fatal Frame 3.
I must say, however, I'm kinda sad that [although the ending is technically default and thus makes sense to be the canon ending], I'm kinda sad a happier ending wasn't chosen as canon. I'm a sucker for happy endings. XD

Welcome MT :gift: and I'm a sucker for happy endings too, :P but not to get off topic, I was hoping Cloud would die at the end of AC :lmao:
I didn't like Fatal Frame II much, cause that one twin was just retarted the way she laughed at times  Fatal Frame III was cool, but over all Fatal Frame I ownz mi soul! :D

I'm stuck on Fatal Frame I and I seriously need help to get more filk for the camera and to figure out where I'm going. Its the part where you're outside the house and theres a little pathway close to the pagoda. There is a boss hiding there and some ghost coming up from their graves. At the end of the path you'll find a huge, wooden door where you have to enter a code.

I'm joining too. I love the Fatal Frame series, though I cant play them myself, my cousin has beaten them all about 4 times...well all the other games except the first one. She's having a hard time with the last boss for some reason. I keep telling her to go over to the platform you walked across, there's room to at least manuver there...but she wont listen...stubborn git!
Anyway, the games scare the piss out of me really...after my cousin showed me the last hidden ghost (No Escape) in Fatal Frame II, I nearly had a heart attack and died! II has to be my favorite though...III was a little complicated, swapping between the characters.
MT: I agree with you on the endings...I think the hardest endings should be the true ones...especially for III....I did enjoy the happy Xbox ending for Fatal Frame II...It was so wonderful!

Although some of the characters did get on my nerves at times [I'M LOOKING AT YOU MAYU], I honestly thought the story of the twins and the imagery was absolutely gorgeous. As well, I enjoyed that it brought Yae's [EXTREMELY TRAGIC. ;_;] story together. Now if only the happy X-Box ending was canon.... D:

I guess the plot was pretty cool, but I guess I didn't like it, because of the characters. I have an X-Box, but don't like it. :lmao:
So does anyone, know anything about Fatal Frame Movie? I know that they are going to base it off of FFII. :ermm:

Actually, from what I've heard on
Beyond the Camera's Lens, my favorite Fatal Frame fansite, it's based on the first Fatal Frame.
I know it's going to be live action and that the creator of Fatal Frame won't be involved, unfortunately, but he has read the script. As well, Steven Spielberg will be one of the directors. I'm not sure if I really want to see it, but I'll wait for more information. :]

sure maybe I miss read, but I know Crimision Butterflys are going to be in there though, so maybe that's why I thought FFII. :lmao:

*joins*
That's what I heard. And I also heard about the Butterflys, but I found out awhile back that Steven Spielberg is not the director of the movie. He said that he enjoys the games, but is not sure about making a movie about it. Although, I think he should ^_^ cause I enjoy his movie's and think it will really go well.
Anyone heard about Miku's Actor? <_< Some girl named Courtney Webb is suppost to play her, if they make it. :ermm: I don't think she'll do it though. :lmao:
Athena/Fuijin - October 1, 2006 12:08 PM (GMT)
If they are going to make a Fatal Frame movie then I think they should at least use Japanese actors. If they don't then that's like ruining the whole setting and theme of the Fatal Frame games.

I agree, I hate when they take Japanese movies and put english characters in there. <_< Oh, and welcome Kelly :gift: and I believe I heard the samething about him, not doing the movies, but to be honest, I don't think he ever was. :ermm:
Rinoa - October 18, 2006 12:39 AM (GMT)
Bah! I hope Takashi Shimizu (The director of The Grudge 1&2) makes the film. xD
Amathala - October 20, 2006 07:26 PM (GMT)
I dont like English adaptations of Japanese movies either. Somehow it's scarier in Japanese than English, and they dont need a bunch of blood and gore to get their points across.
Originally I thought that Beyond the Camera's Lens said it was going to be based on Fatal Frame I, not II, and yes, they were going to get an American to play Miku. That's so utterly screwed up...

I agree. ^_^
I really, hate when they take a movie, that's japanese like for example, The eye(which is going to star Tom Cruise ) and put american actors in it. The Grudge, was probobly the only movie by far, that actually was good. I mean, it did have some american actors in there, but there was some jap in there as well. ^_^
And as for Miku. I did hear about her being american, I think Courtney Webb, is playing her. <_< I hope, it is based off of one, but I do know the crimsion butterfly's are suppost to be in there. :ermm:
