I seriously don't know what to do. This guy asked me out, and I agreed. Now, a friend of mine, I'll call him K, told me how a girl named C was..Ah, finger raped by a guy that she knew. I wasn't supposed to know about this apparently. Many things point to this guy I agreed to go out with as the person that did that to C. C herself told me he could be a little weird, but that it was better if I didn't know.

So like... Should I act like I never heard that stuff? Ask the guy about it? ...Have K prod C untill she tells him so he can tell me? Or just be on my guard when I'm with him? I really don't know.

I think that you should ask this girl about it. Even if you're not supposed to know, in this predicament, that's important information to have, isn't it?

If for whatever reason, you're not comfortable doing that, I say that you give him the benefit of the doubt, but don't let your guard down. Sexual harrassment is a really difficult situation, so I don't think it's right to jump to conclusions or leave yourself open to be victim to it.

Good luck with this. Honestly, I really think you should just ask Person C about it. If anything should happen with this guy that you're really uncomfortable with, make sure that you are totally firm with him on what your boundaries are. Don't let him pressure you into doing something you're not comfortable with.

Are you sure that it's not just rumors?

I really want to ask C, but I know that K wasn't supposed to tell me. Of course, I could say I just heard it as a rumor...

As for it just being a rumor, I really hope it just is, but I'm still gonna pry C I guess...

The first and most important thing though, is for you to take care of yourself. It might not even have anything to do with the guy who asked you out, but I would be cautious anyway. It's a lot better to be safe than to wait until something happens that you'll end up regreting later on in life.

I would definitely find out all I can, even if it means confronting C about it.

At the moment, things have calmed down a bit. We aren't gonna go out now, we decided against it, and I was talking to C and she said she was gonna go for him... I want to confront her about it, but she's already pissed off enough at me, and I don't want her to get mad at K. I'm gonna talk to her anyways though, I really want to know.
