There's a link to Square's AC site on FF7 Reunion tonight. I assume that means that there's been an update to the site. I've looked through it, but I don't see anything new yet. Nothing about it has been written up on AdventChildren.net or SquareNet yet, either, but we'll keep a watch and let you know if it's anything new. Let's hope so! :D

The new update is for the characters page. Cid, Denzel, Marlene, Reno, Rude, Yuffie and Zack have all been added to characters section on the official Advent Children Net.

Unfortunately Aerith has not been added. Neither has Red XIII or the WCM though.

I don't understand. Square Enix said Aerith fans wouldn't be disappointed but I feel disappointed already. Surely they don't expect us to be satisfied with seeing her without her face being shown :(

At least Itadaki helps ease the disappointment for me, Aerith has been seen quite a bit there and with Cloud to boot :wub:

They have? I don't see them on the Characters page. :unsure: Is there any new information about them? EDIT: For some reason, I can view the character update from my computer at work, but the character update isn't viewable on my home computer. Don't ask me why. :unsure:

In a way, that makes me feel better. :lol: The WCM is obviously a character that they're treating with secrecy and don't want to share information about. Perhaps that's their strategy with Aerith, too?

They said we wouldn't be disappointed, but I think they meant we wouldn't be disappointed with her role in the movie. I don't think there's any chance of her face never being shown. I think her face is pivotal in the movie - that Cloud won't see her face until he forgives himself, so they don't want us to see her face before Cloud does. I'm sure we will see it... just not until the release of the movie. :(

It's about time they updated the characters section. I was starting to feel that they didn't even remember that they had a website for AC. :lol:

Clean your internet history and such other thingies, some computers like to load webpages from their memory or something like that. I'm no good at explaining! :D
Well, just do that and you should be able to see the updates.

Nope... that was the first I'd gone into Square's main site since I cleared my internet history last. I also cleared my internet history again after she said it had been updated to make sure that wasn't the problem and went into the site again. I still can't see the update. *shrug*

Maybe when they finally show Aerith in the character section, the swirl of characters will be revolving around her. :rolleyes:

Well if it puts you to ease, it seems Marlene's and Denzel's profile say 'taken care by Tifa' and didn't mention Cloud in the mix.

LOL! Good point, Onigiri. The other thing is that Tifa's profile says nothing about being Cloud's girlfriend or any such thing. The only references to Cloud in Tifa's profile is that she knows the truth about Cloud's past and that he's a childhood friend. Wouldn't Square be saying that Tifa is Cloud's girlfriend if they were romantically involved over the last two years? There's also no mention of Tifa in Cloud's profile.
