I have a feeling they'll recycle a lot of stuff from KH1, but I love the stairways of light in KH2's opening. It'll be neat seeing it.

But CoM on the PS2 would be interesting, however I agree with you MT, it maybe like FFX-2 where they would reuse a lot of the backgrounds and such for the worlds, sprites and magic spells.

On another note, we finally get KH2 on Friday :)

I for one am rather excited for it. I like the idea, because I tried to play CoM on GB and I sucked >_< :lmao: The only thing that isn't really appealing to me is the whole card based game play, but other than that I'm all for it. Of course, it won't matter if the game never leaves Japan like the other Final Mix game

A little bit out of the blue but...

Am I the only person who actually liked the whole card-based battle system and the fact that KH: COM is my favourite game out of the whole KH series? I mean, of course it was just a little bit of a bland story of repeating worlds (Hey, the Organzation was first introduced there, which gives a little bit of a kick to the whole story of KHII) but hey-! KH: COM was a good game. The card-system provided a nice little challenge to build up your deck to make it better and better. (Although, one of my friends did make a deck completely out of Cloud cards...which is stupid, IMHO). Not exactly great, but I liked it.

Anyway, back on topic...

I'm not sure if it's been confirmed that it will be only released in Japan, but KH: Final Mix wasn't all that great. I'm guessing there will be a 50-25% chance it'll be released in the US because of how it grossed during the first week, or who knows? For the apology for releasing KH2 so late in Europe, they might just get it as an apology. (Although that will NEVER happen, IMHO).

Well, the card system is nice... but I really prefer hardcore Keyblade action in the other two games.

The story won me over, though. Especially Riku's side of the story.

I guess it would be cool, :unsure: but I'm not much of a fan of KH:CoM. Maybe it will be good and I hope so, but at least will get more smexy pictures of Sora and Riku. :wub:

ive never played COM so what is it about , i know this is where namine was first seen and most of the organization members. but i don't really get it :unsure: sorry i'm slow on these things

Oooh. This sounds cool! I'd actually like to see a KH: COM remake, especially if it's on the PS2... or something like that. I couldn't buy a GBA, and thus the game. (Though seeing it in the occasional game store broke my heart.) And I've always been out of KH because of the lack of this game so... seeing it in a PS2 would be very nice. :)

Plus Zexion in 3D mode would be teh coolnezz.

I beat CoM, and I thought it was really good, Im another person who is a fan of the card system, although I do like regular keyblade action.
If they made it on the ps2 that would be so awesome! I'd love to see more of Namine, and Im really getting into the Sora/Namine pairing! I never did finish Riku's side though, It got unbelievably hard so I just kinda gave up.

This is a little off subject, but has anyone ever heard of the Olette/Sora pairing? Thats really random to me... :ermm:
