Well, I'll tell you, I ran across this site maybe a month ago and was surprised at how many people are still playing and discussing FFVII and the Cloud/Aeris romance. I'm not much of a message board person, but someone, one of your regulars I'm assuming, sent me a message that I should post a fanfiction I wrote here. So I thought I'd introduce myself in the process.

Don't worry, I've checked out the rules. Cloud was my favorite character from the game, with Yuffie a close second. Aeris was third, and I was none too happy when she was killed (spoiler?), since they were my preferred party.

Tifa I never care for much. She seemed a little too clingy and a bit of a nag. Also, she was none too nice to young Cloud, and that father of hers can take a hike! As for being strong, well, don't get me started on that premium heart weapon and its ridiculous damage property!

Anyway, I liked the Cloud/Aeris pairing in both the game and the movie. They balanced each other out well, and the tragic tone of the game suggests that Cloud did have feelings for her and saved the planet for her sake.
