I just got New-Type magazine and they talk about Silent Hill Origins for PSP. XD

I want SH: Origins. :sad: Okay, I think we need to start some debates. ^_^

I hate to bump an old thread, but I hate even more so creating a new one, so I'll post here about the sequel to the movie! I just found out (via Wikipedia, which is God) that there is a sequel to the movie due out in 2008. What would you like to see included in the movie this time? The first movie kind of mashed things up a bit, so we're probably not going to get a dedicated story from a certain game, most likely more from multiple games (did that even make sense?). Example, the story from the movie is about Alessa which is about the 1st game (and to an extent the third), but we also had Pyramid Head from the 2nd game.

So what would you like to see in the next movie?

Wikipedia isn't all that reliable so I wouldn't quote them.

The last I heard on the movie sequel is that the cast is open and willing to do a sequel but the director is still thinking about it. Before I believe anything else, I'd want a source a little more official than Wikipedia.

I hope they DO make a sequel though. The first gave me awesome memories even if it didn't follow the story directly.

I'm always kind of wary of trusting things from Wiki, but if there's just a slight chance of a sequel, then I'm content. IMDB said it would be released in 2008, but I don't visit IMDB much so I don't know how much it can be trusted.

As for the cast, that would imply that it would have the same characters if they want to come back. It could pick up from where it left off, but that would be strange for Silent Hill considering most endings allow players to have interpretation (since there are about 5 endings). It would be different to give the movie a "canon" ending.

You *liked* it, CG? I never got around to watching it, because the D+ score from the critics scared me away. How good is it?
