also, I just replayed SO3, and read some forums for Maria and Fayt shippers. I still don't get it. they were experimented on, but so was sophia. sophia has known fayt longer, and understands him better, yet a lot of people claim maria understands him more than sophia. that sounds kinda weird to me. :ermm: i mean, just because fayt found out information about his powers from her, doesn't mean she understands him better. it just means she has had a similar expieriance, but so has sophia. so i'm confused. i dunno. maybe it's just something i don't get... :lol:

I know what you mean by this. It's very similar to how Clotis argue that Tifa understands Cloud better just because she knows about his childhood past. There's a huge difference between knowing something about someone and actually understanding that person. The two aren't equivalent.

Yeah, I've actually heard many people say they enjoyed Star Ocean 2 more than 3. To be honest, SO actually isn't my ultimate favorite RPG series or anything...but I do enjoy it (along with Fayt and Sophia's relationship, of course).

awwwwwwwwwwwwww! it's so KAWAII! and i think i know why a lot of people didn't like SO3. it was because they took a long time developing the plot, and a lot of people don't have the patience for it. it's the same thing with the how people viewed the movie Hulk. it's such an in-depth story, but all people want to see is the action... <_<

They are being uploaded as we speak. To me, I thought that the manga > game. At least to me. The manga shows their personalities more if you ask me. You will just love Fayt's father.

Yeah, I don't doubt it. Even with animes, mangas usually do a far better job with the characters' development. Of course, I'll be looking forward to checking out Fayt's father too... :giggle:

Yeah it does. It has more depth to it though. It explains a lot of more things and has little fillers which I find very entertaining. You will love Cliff and Nel's little conversations, plus, Cliff isn't the only who has a perverse side to him...*nudges Fayt*.

Yup, I really need to get the chapter where he was looking at Sophia's behind. That one made me crack up so hard. Cliff and Nel are love, especially since, manga Nel is so much more fun than the SO3!Game Nel (...I love Nel and all but I found her to be a stiff in SO3, actually everyone was a stiff to me, maybe not Albel but yeah...I felt that the game lacked emotion. Emotion in the way the expressed themselves, emotions that is.).
