Is playing comp. games like this ugly for girls? Because I play this game and some people find it weird you know, I am hanging out with the guys, playing DoTA...and I really enjoy playing this game...my girl friends tell me to stop...but I so so LIKE THIS game!!! I enjoy it very much!!! I even get closer to the guys and somehow I know what guy world is!!! My boyfriend encourages me to play this game too!!!

Don't stop at all. Girl gamers get a lot of hassle, be one of the survivors and prove you're just as good as guys at gaming. In fact, beat them at something then laugh at them. We don't like it but maybe your friends will :P

By all means, don't stop playing something you enjoy because your friends say so. My friend hates anime, I don't care, I still watch it. Your free to do whatever you want, if you like it so much, why should you stop playing?

Of course it's not ugly! :blink: I know they're your friends, Cynel, but man, if I got hold of the ones who told you that...

Granted, you don't find as many girl gamers for Warcraft as you might find for RPGs, so it may feel "weird". But I find it very cool to watch a girl holding her own amongst the guy gamers in these games. I know a handful of girls among my friends who play, and pwn, at Warcraft, Gunbound, Counter Strike and what-have-you.

If your friends want you to stop just because they think it's not "feminine" or "weird", I hardly consider that a good reason to give up something you enjoy.

Hey, I play DOTA too! Which realm do you play on? Azeroth? Lordaeron?

And there's nothing wrong or ugly about that. Just don't sink to the guys' level in stuff. >_>

Games in general, be they board games or computer games are entertainment for those who like them no matter what gender they might be. It's as simple as that. :)

I like Warcraft. I don't play online, but I played the campaigns and I loved them more than my brother does. I never got tired of watching him play online, and whenever he plays DoTA or some other custom game (eg. Anime Fight) I watch him play too. Certainly don't let anyone take you away from your love of gaming! I can't think why girl friends would want you to stop playing though; it's not like it hurts them or anything.

Bwhaha! Don't you listen to them! Lady gamers are AWESOME, and all the boys want us xD Especially when we're attractive lady gamerz ^_^ So you just go on doin' your thing, have a good time, ENJOY yourself, and don't you listen to them.
