Friendship!? What is this!? They didn't have friendship! They had a ROMANCE. How stupid!!

Well, they're entitled to their own opinions. It's just like how we perceive Cloud and Tifa's relationship to be Friendship and not Romance, it's the same for how they perceive Cloud and Aerith's relationship.

Fair's fair. No double standards.

I personally don't approve of taking things from their forums to rant about here, but hey, whatever rocks your boat. I'll have to just post a friendly reminder to keep bashing to a minimum, please, before things get ugly.

Well, it makes sense for Cloud and Aerith to have a friendship if you belive Cloud and Tifa have a romance :ermm:

Interesting that a CloudXAerith fan would join us, and one of the first things, present to us a newly set up site from StrifeHeart on Cloud and Aerith's friendship. You seem pretty confused and sure of Cleris at the same time. :whistle:

Anyhow, it's the opinions of a Cloti, so what were you expecting? Having been in all sorts of LTDs, it's old stuff to me. I wouldn't bother wasting too much breath on something like that. Meh, if what was shared between Cloud and Aerith is considered just friendship...then I personally wouldn't even consider Cloud and Tifa friends. ^^

The CloTi's have their believes and we have our believes ^_^

Exactly. :lol: I mean, take KH2, for instance. Cloud promises to return to Aerith and yet he runs and hides from Tifa? If Cloud and Aerith are friends, I wouldn't even consider Cloud and Tifa friends, based on his own actions. :lmao: Heck, just look at his body language in AC. Reaching for Aerith and turning to see Aerith while running away from Seventh Heaven and turning his back to Tifa. It is obvious who Cloud truly wants to be with. You just have to look at his actions, his body language, and his facial expressions. The creators even stated that Cloud "speaks with his eyes" rather than saying how he feels. CloTis are just all about what Tifa wants and feels. I don't think very many of them are concerned about Cloud's feelings. :no:

Well, at least that person didn't say "AERITH IS A HORRIBLE FLOWER WHORE." I actually think it's nice that they could make a tribute to a relationship between Cloud and Aerith, even if they believe they're just friends.

You could find a lot on Strifeheart that we would all disagree with much more firmly, but it doesn't really matter, does it? They can insist that Cloud and Aerith are just friends, but I find it hard to believe that's the case when Amano drew them together (when Tifa was only drawn alone), the Date Mechanism favors Aerith, and just all of the romantic innuendo they shared during the game. So, in the end, what does it matter what they say over there at Strifeheart?

Like others have said, if Aerith is just a friend then Tifa's just an acquaintance. :P

Truth! Not everyone's going to like the same couple, especially in FF7 when there are so many opinions floating around. It's nice that this person took the time to create their own tribute to these two even if they don't see it as a romance. The essays are well written and I enjoy reading them even if I don't agree 100%.
