Title: Favorite Insert Song(s)?
Description: --from Anime, Movies, etc.--

Sure we love the uber awesome anime opening themes or the slow, but beautiful ending themes, but what about insert songs? Insert songs are, by the way, songs that are played during the anime/movies (especially in emotional scenes) and if the song is really nice and fits perfectly, sometimes it brings you to tears.
My favorites would have to be:
Both "Brave Heart" from Digimon and Shaman King.
Brave Heart from Digimon is...not really much of an insert song. It's a song that always plays whenever the digimon evolves in season 1. But I really like this song. Especially the beginning part. So beautiful.
Brave Heart from Shaman King is sung by Hayashibara Megumi and I think this song is awesome. It has a sense of action and, in my opinion, a sense of sadness in it. It just plays at the right scene in the anime and I just love it!!
Ai wa Itsumo - from Detective Conan. It's a really short song. Only like about a minute or two? But I love it.
Kimi ga ireba - again from Detective Conan. I guess you can say this is somewhat of the main theme of conan because it usually starts playing at the climax of each movie. And I love it when it plays, usually at the right time.
Anyone has one?

Ooh. I was going to post in the Anime Opening/Closing themes, but I'll go here first since I love these more
Vestige (T.M. Revolution), Gundam Seed Destiny - This is played when Kira launches from the Eternal with his uber awesome cool Strike Freedom gundam. I really like the opening of this song and how it fit perfectly with the scene.
Meteor (T.M Revolution), Gundam Seed - It plays many times throughout the series, but I think it was most notable when Kira was fighting those three Bacues in the desert after he made a few changes to the OS to fit the desert environment, and how he kicked ass after .
Forces (Susumu Hirasawa?), Berserk - I've only heard it play in the actual anime during two episodes, and at the end to show the forcoming of the next episode. I love it's catchy beat, it was also used it a Marth combo video called Wound of the Wind, which I also love. What can I say? Japanese dance music is awesome xD.
...I'll think of more later.
EDIT: Okay, I have more! I don't know if they count as insert songs, though. Most of these are intrumentals.
Starless, Rurouni Kenshin - Very nice piano piece, and when the strings are added...*sigh, very pretty song, and very emotional too. Noriyuki Asakura is a genius.
Sadness and Sorrow, Naruto - I. love. this. song. Especially the piano version. Very, very, very sad but beautiful song. As the above, Toshiro Matsuda is a genius. This song was the very reason that almost made me shed a tear during the Haku and Zabusa death scene. Very pretty song ^_^.
Frozen Flower, DNAngel - Another very pretty piano piece. I think DNAngel used this song for many purposes, but for mostly angst in the storyline. The only part I can remember I heard this playing was when Hiwatari was waking up in the morning in that one episode xDD.
Fields of Hope, Gundam Seed Destiny - My favourite song from Lacus Clyne. Very pretty song. Enough said. :)

OMG, I so agree with you here! "Sadness and Sorrow" is probably the most emotional bgm I have ever heard. Whenever I want to listen to sad music, this is always on the top of my list! I love this song to death, especially the piano version, too! Everytime they play this music in the background during the scenes, I shed a tear or if it's really emotional, I cry.
Anyway, I'm gonna add more songs.
Departure (both accoustic and piano version. And also the director's mix)- Rurouni Kenshin
Another emotional, sad(?) song I like. Really beautiful.
End of Duel- Yu-Gi-Oh
This is why I like the Japanese version than the dub...their background music is just so amazing!! I love this one...cause it's another emotional piece.
I love most of T.M. Revolution's song. Has that upbeat but awesome style and I just...love it!
Yeah, I'm basically a sucker at these kind of emotional, sad songs. Really grabs my heart.

Kyaaa! No one else is going to reply to this? I love T.M Revolution as well, Rui. He's one of my favourite artists.
Lonliness (Toshiro Matsuda), Naruto - One of those emotional songs. I love how he (the composer) adds Asian instruments to Western styles of Classical music...sort of.
Perfect Cell Theme (Techno Remix), Dragonball Z - This isn't exactly an insert song, since I think this was fanmade. May I say that this has a sickk beat and is great for dancing? Yeah, we did this for a confrence at my Youth group. METRO EAST WOO! xDD

I love 'Memory ~sunshine~', 'Mysterious Family', and 'Secret' from Fruits Basket. Witch Hunter Robin had a great, atmospheric soundtrack as well, I liked 'Allay Pain', 'Robin' and 'Silence'. Also, the star locket melody of Moonlight Densetsu on Sailor Moon! As for vocal songs, I really liked White Reflection from Gundam Wing Endless Waltz.

I agree those are good songs, too. Gundam Wing songs always fascinates me some way. I guess it's because I love most of TWO-Mix's songs and most of the GW songs are by TWO-MIX. Well, at least the OPs and the Insert songs. :D

This is interesting...
Ai no Uta from Inuyasha Movie II: it was played during a scene between Inuyasha and Kagome. Performed by Every Little Thing, and it means "Song of Love" :3
Sotsugyou from Inuyasha: it was played in episode 124 after Naraku emerged from Mt. Hakurei and managed to strike Kikyo down, supposedly killing her. D: I cried. It was a very emotional moment for Inuyasha. Performed by Tackey and Tsubasa.
The_Drizzle - September 29, 2006 07:23 PM (GMT)
Eloi from Time Machine - This tune is just soothing and very empowering.
The Touch from Transformers the Movie - The greatest hero moment of all time with the greatest hero song of all time. It just does not get any better than this.
Hunger from Transformrs the Movie - B-R-U-T-A-L

Beautiful Emotions, Noir - The only slow song that I happen to like ^^. the lyrics are really good and somewhat emotional.
Love Deeper , Samurai Deeper Kyo- This song has a nice rock beat to it. It makes me want to dance!

Every Heart (InuYasha)- c'mon you gotta love this! To be honest it makes me fall asleep. anyway, I love the piano here, it's so symphonic, and I feel like it's my last breath. XD
Ki Ni Naru Aitsu (CCS)- Li Syaoran is like so in love with Sakura!!! I really like this song because of the message: I won't let go of her. Be Heard Worthy.

In Bleach, there's that song that plays whenever Ichigo is fighting. I forget what it's called, but when I first heard it I thought it was Anastacia's I'm Outta Love. Awesome, nonetheless.

Agh...you want me to name anime insert songs? Do you know how much anime I have??
Any of the vocal tracks from Shojo Kakumei Utena when Utena fights in the duels. I wouldn't exactly call them insert songs, but they are so catchy, even if they sound a little off-key at times.
Regret from Samurai X: Seisouhen Oooooh how I love this so very pretteh, pretteh song...made me cry...a lot LOL. I'm a sucker for violins and wind instruments, so this one was absolutely perfect for me.
Sakura Kiss for Piano from Ouran High School Host Club Fun peice, gorgeous to listen to, and quite catchy for it being an instrumental.
Flame from Witch Hunter Robin I dont even know how to describe this one...out of all the peices from WHR, this one has to be my absolute favorite one. I love how it starts of slow at the first couple of notes and then BOOM! like an explosion. Suitable for WHR, since Robin works quite well with fire.
Words That We Couldn't Say; any of the vocals from Cowboy Bebop are great! I'd expect nothing less from Yoko Kanno
I have soooooooooo many more, as I've seen a lot of different genres of anime, but I'll have to leave that for another time. It's time to get ready for work....noooooooo!
Materia Thief - October 11, 2006 05:37 AM (GMT)
I don't watch much anime, so I can't really comment, but I have a few standouts.
God Knows... from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - My favorite by far, the singing is great, the purpose is hilarious and the lyrics are surprisingly touching, in a non-saccharine way. It's also nice to have a more rock-driven song. :3
Anything played on the piano in Ouran Koukou Host Club - Oh Tamaki, how I love you and your piano 'skillz'. Gorgeously done classical music, plus the piano remix of 'Sakura Kiss'--how can you resist?
Eternal Snow from Full Moon wo Sagashite - I'm not the hugest fan of the anime, although it still has its good points. The music, in particular, is very well done and is very catchy, even when replayed 10 billion times. XD
