What are you thoughs about Paris Hilton singing?

At first when I heard "Stars Are Blind" I didn't like it but when I saw the video a couple of times on T.V I began to like the song. I think her voice is ok but she's hot. I think her CD is due August 22. I don't I would be interest in buying it.

I think it's ample time to kill myself before I ever get subjected to such horrid idea... :P

Haha, I actually like this song ("Stars Are Blind"). 8] It's very soothing and playful. I don't think Paris Hilton is that bad in general (though she's INCREDIBLY lazy and not the ideal role model for children @_@), but about her singing... it's very soft. I don't even think her singing abililty is not even near bad. ^_^ HOWEVER, as what my friends would always say when this song pops up, it sounds like Ms. Hilton is singing karaoke. XD; IMHO the lyrics are pretty weird, too, yet it's not a totally pointless song. Prolly ish for the open-minded party-goers/ballers, me guesses. Like what Paris said in an interview, it's basically just a song intended to make people dance in partayz/beaches. Ah well. The song's not my fave, but I wouldn't object to listen to it. :blush:

When I first heard this song on TRL (on MTV), I was totally shocked and prolly bothered that mebbe Paris wanted more attention by trying to SING. My first impression was like "OK...eww...", but now... I like listening to it, honestly. ;p I hate when I make prejudgements. -__-; I mean, I'm personally not a Paris Hilton fangirl, but at least she's trying new things.

When I first heard the song, I thought it was Gwen Stefani to be honest. The style is very similar. And while [having heard her live] I'm quite assured by Gwen Stefani's ability to sing, I'm not so sure about Paris Hilton. For most songs, there's a level of technical editing used and especially with most modern pop/rock/hip-hop songs there's an extreme amount of editing and leveling. It's not bad, but it disguises the true talent (or lack of) behind a voice.

The song itself--I'm not a fan of. It's been overplayed, the beat gets on my nerves and the lyrics aren't catchy or deep enough to interest me. Then again, I'm not the biggest fan of pop. XD

Never seen the video, I'd rather not.

Meh, she has a weak voice. It was ok, and i got addicted to it real easy. ^_^ I still can't believe i memorized the song.... *rolls eyes* But, its alright. Its nothing special. I personally don't like her. She has really no talent. She's just something pretty to look at.
I'd give the song.... about a 5.9/10. Its fair.

The lyrics were so not her. Come on, this is Paris Hilton were talking about. Her finding love, and bla bla bla.....<_< She's not that special. Just pretty and kinky.

Definetly NOT buying this CD. Paris tries way to hard to be in the spotlight ((for doing absolutley nothing)). That song "The Stars Are Blind" just sounds like a bunch of editing, and leveling of her actual voice. To me, whenever Paris feels like she isn't getting enough attention THIS week from People magazine, she has to do something...like this. Its really shocked me how no one seems to be annoyed with her yet. Whether it'd be us everyday people, the media, other celebrities, it just really shocks me. Singing is definetly not Ms. Hilton's strong point. Maybe she should stick to what she does best : getting trashed at night clubs.

I know I act like I'm so into her but... meh she's pretty. I love it when she says "That's Hot" or "Can I have some butter with toast?" If were to meet her I'd give her a LARGE hug and cry on her shoulder. She's just so pretty her hair and everything. Paris Hilton ROCKS... I don't care what others say about her she's a human being like all of us.. I hope Paris Hilton reads this... :)

Ok back to Paris Hilton sings... I wonder what her other songs sound like. I'm expecting it to be a little pop/rock in it but I doubt it lol. If she's like Christina Auglria or Britnay Spears I'm going to be disappointed. I'm a more rock fan but some pop music is ok. Well, I hope her CD sells well but I still might not buy it.

Not to be critical or anything, but I hate Paris Hilton because she's famous for no apparant good reason. Plus, I think this song is catchy but her voice sound so..."enhanced"

I love paris, but she stole, "Thats hot" from me. I have like always said it, before the simple life came out.....but meh, she can have it.

I love stars are blind....it is such a fun song. I think Paris is better on Simple life or partying then her singing voice, but I still like the song, and she isn't that bad of a singer. and Hey maybe she sang, because it is fun and thats what she wanted to do. ^^

I wasn't that annoyed with the song at first, but now, it's just plain... bleh. The melody is playful and all, but it gets stuck in your head no matter how many times you tell your brain to STOP (just like High School Musical). I also don't like how she doesn't really show any talent in singing; she doesn't show any diversity, and she seems to be sighing and groaning out the lyrics, which IMHO, sounds very disturbing.

The song isn't that bad though, as it really isn't meant to inspire or anything... it's a rather shallow (sorry...) song meant for people to hum or dance to if they ever feel like doing so.

What pisses me off though is the fact that it was such a hit with the public that it was on the top of the charts (or something...). There are a lot more, much better songs that deserve that place.
