I just got the game, but am not playing it yet. ^^;; *am squeeing at the Aerith blurb*

Any thoughts for those who are now playing it?

well i am having a fun time playing it, of course i suck when it comes to playing shooters like DoC but eh till i am doing fine in it. Um very addicting and the story i think is very interesting and it makes you want to keep going to find out more. Gah Lucrecia reminds me of Aerith guessing cause how they look. That was a random thing to say. Anyways the game is a good game. The english cast is fantastic IMO, expecially Reeve!!! EEEEEk! So i like that they did a good casting and it feels just fine when they talk, anyways the game is entertaining and very cool. IMO.
Um are those even decent thoughts? O_O XD
Sorry if my thoughts didn't make sense, i am random at times that i have no clue what i am trying to even say. =p

Controls are alright.
I have expected to not like the game. It's a surprise that it didn't.

I like the game i enjoy it very much, still upset that you can't jump around more freely like in Devil May Cry but hey since it was an inserted thing they couldn't really make him do that. But gah that would have been a better thing. Oh well still very fun. ^^

I reached Nibelheim! Whopee! Weird trip to memory lane, and I could almost *hear* Vincent thinking that the mansion was a little different the last time he was there. It was a nice touch the room with the coffins was there. The secret lab/library. The lobby. XD

*Sees Vincent looking like he wanted to hug hologram!Lucrecia scene. My thoughts.*

I was disappointed with Azul. He didn't have much going on with him. Just the boss Vincent has to shoot. Here's for hoping the other Tsviets would be better...

Yay Azul did feel like an inserted boss to me, actuall all of the Tsviets...(gah i can't spell it i am just tyring to sound it out XD) the bad dudes all of them really don't seem to have a story IMO

Shelke is alright, Shalua eh, don't like her outfit i guess. Her outfit makes me not accept the fact she is a scientist! COme on! Sorry i always need to pick at outfits that just seem nasty in my eyes. =P

Sigh. I felt the Organization in KH2 has more substance than these guys. Tsviets do it because Wiess says so... >.> Wonder if they'd jump off a bridge because he'd asked them politely.

Rosso looks interesting, I love her weapon. Except she's a sociopath who wants to kill people.

Nero and Weiss is hot, despite some little problems in that pairing...

yeah i think they would have easily jumped off a cliff if Weiss told them too. XD

rosso was alright except her outfit!! I am sorry but i am the type of person who hates outfits that make you want to gah! I mean what the heck is that a carpet on her!! Okay sorry sorry that is my opinion.

Yes i beat the game today!!! MY GOSH!! I wish it was longer but still need to get the secret ending cause i did not succeed in that.

And now that i think about it Shelke is creepy and i do not like her, the ending scared me about her. Hopefully i ain't the only one reading way to much into it.

Your reactions to the loading time are hilarious! :lmao: I don't think I'll be getting this game for a while (FPS are at the bottom of my to-play list, really, something even SE can't change... and I don't have a PS2 right now anyway), so all these little comments are interesting to read!

Could anyone explain what's the deal about Lucrecia? I recall old reports back when the Japanese version was released, about her basically falling in love with everyone. :P

Lucrecia reminds me of Yuna, actually. She was so into her work, she doesn't care what happens to herself.

Lucrecia has feelings for Vincent, but her guilt regarding his father seemed to be the cause for her not to cross the line. I really don't understand why she chose Hojo because...

A. Vincent was prettier
B. Hojo's creepy and insane. I swear, one look at him in DoC and you'd look at Lucrecia and say, "what were you smoking?"

In the end, she realized that she loved Vincent (and this was after he got shot, oy) and doesn't want to lose him. Hence he became Chaos, in an attempt to save him.

Things went spiral from there. Lucrecia was wrought with guilt and anguish when her baby was taken from her, and her mind and body was slowly turning into something... unpleasant.

BTW, Vincent has this nice flashback of him sleeping on the grass, Lucrecia teasing him that he's not being a good bodyguard, him protesting he was just resting his eyes, and her producing a basket of food, inviting him to a picnic. And ZOMG they're near to a field of flowers!!! They're evil clerises!!!

Ahem.

Anywho. I've reached Midgar (and whoa, the train graveyard was there!), and busting Vince's butt protecting the WRO (sheesh Reeve, at least TRAIN them to not be stationary target practice, will ya?!). :/

The Shera's interior is nice (Cid has pics of the Highwind and Tiny Bronco!), I was delighted they added Yuffie's punching the air mannerisms.

I still wonder what "Wushians" is... is that what they're called now (the Wutai people)? Will Random Wutaian Dude become Random Wushian Dude? o.0;

I did like Yuffie's "zen stance" before she got her head hit on the wall in the truck scene. She does quiet down when all is said and done. And her using an icebag to fight off her airsickness. And Yuffie coming in and rescuing Vincent, literally pissing Rosso off.

Forgive me. Am fangirling. XD Am also happy this game doesn't seem into yuffentine (apologies to the fans of that pairing, but I can't really see them in an intimate relationship. Plus Vincent's a gothic 60 year old, dammit >.<. That game cements it for me.) I can totally see Vincent x Reeve and Vincent x Shelke though.

Oh, and Cid's speech of "You guys better not die or I will go straight to hell personally to kill you again" and "Shera's getting worried, you know how she is". Makes me realize why he's my favorite FF Cid.

Oh and I have a thing for Random WRO Who Wears the Red Cap Guy, even though he gets killed like 50 times in this game. >.> <.< *is ashamed*

BTW, there is an interesting line from Vincent...

Well yeah cause she has Lucrecia's data floating around her, but i highly doubt Vincent will ever want to have anything to do with a kid, he has morals. =p
I still see that Vincent cares for shelke like a sister or daughter or a good friend, nothing more. The ending...sheesh i was like "Girl you are not normal and Vincent doesn't see you like that"

I think I may know why Lucrecia (wow! They totally say her name different than what I have been!) reminds people of Yuna. I think they have the same VA in the English version LOL. I was sitting there and went, "OMG! It's Yuna in Lucrecia's body! You're in the wrong game girlie!" LOL.

From what I've been able to see, I love it so far, my friend rented it and has been playing it. I totally dig Shelke and Shalua (yes, I really thought Shalua was awesome except for that ugly ass outfit...what kind of scientist dresses like that?!).

The worst part of the game was playing as Cait Sith...ugh...sneaking around...I got shot right in the face so many times!

And...of course, I squeed major at the Aerith posters and at the appearance of Cloud :fangirl:

Oh! There are also Cloud posters, pictures of Barrets arm gun, and Red XIII pictures that say "Pet Shop" on them LOL!

Actually i do not believe Lucrecia's VA is the same one of Yuna's. Still she didn't really remind me of her, she reminded me of Aerith cause well they almost looked the same. =P Or i am just a crazy girl. XD

Awww Amathala you did not like Cait's part? I enjoyed it i was like "Oh yeah Metal Gear has prepared me for this." of course MGS is harder =P

Beat the game, fairly easy, but I liked it. Story line was great gameplay provided something new and challenging, and it was just beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing about it....except that Yuffie's VA changed.

oh and to me, Lucrecia reminded me of Aerith in looks, but Yuna in voice. sooooo

and I liked Shaluah's outfit, if she wasn't wearing that ugly coat.

Shelke though, was sooooooooooo cute I loved her.

Anyway Anti-R, I think that this game was good, and it held alot of great FFVII moments and Characters. I squeeled alot like a fanboy. ^^ :fanboy:

I'm finding this game fairly fun. I will play to the ending but that'll be it. I see no replay value in this game. My nephew seems to loves it. He said he's already a couple of levels past me, so I guess it will get it's use.. I'm just glad I didnt have to buy it

Actually it does have replay value, IF you dont cheat and get the Super Secret Ending the first time through. I'd replay simply for the fun of getting my accuracy to 100% in all missions.

If you're having a hard time finding the posters, look around in the area where you have to find all the snipers (where you have to have the little boy lead you around), I think that was Edge. You can see just about everything there, a picture of the car that you escape from ShinRa headquarters is there too...and this really blurry picture that looks like a cropped picture of that artwork of the FFVII main cast (minus Aerith *sniffle*)

I dunno. Seeing you know who carrying you know who to yaoiland together secret ending doesn't sound rewarding for me...

I mean i still want to see it, and i wish it was yaoiland! Heh heh but still i would replay to get better grades and the secret ending and of course squeel over Vincent and Reeve. Hear Reeve laugh. My gosh when Reeve laughs it is sooooo hot!! Am i the only one who thinks that!? I mean you will all need to agree with me that when Reeve laughs you want to melt. XD I am such a fangirl. =p

Anyways, I repeated the game. Because Hard Mode is annoying. T.T Couldn't get to finish Chapter 8 because the game obviously hates Vincent. Grrrrr...
