Dont know why, I've just recently gotten into this couple for the first time.
Originally, Sora and Tai were the only couple that got my attention (:mad: Grrrr! Hated the finale! Sorato rot in hell!!), but I find mimi and Matt are extremely cute! :fangirl:

I think I'll write a fanfic about them. ^_^

To tell you the truth, I really did think they were a couple, since Matt's always standing next to Mimi, or always split up with her and TK.
Something confuses me. In the year 2027, Matt's 31. :blink: And why is Mimi a cook?? She should have become a singer or a model, but a cook?! Made no sense whatsoever! >_<

Are you gonna join, or just sit there and sulk for something that's completely meaningless? ^_^ Mimato and Taiora are the couples which actually seem to have meaning, and the characters actually interact and act like they care about each other.

To the world, Sorato isn't ever going to be accepted as real love, and I don't think it'll ever be. ^_^

No, I'm not going to join. I was going to, but since you've since shown I can't express my views without being attacked for it, I wouldn't feel comfortable. First off I feel I wasn't given a proper chance to join before I was accussed of doing nothing but sitting there sulking, I'd have probably joined in my next post, typically when I post in a club's thread it means I'm joining, I just didn't have time to write anything else earlier, and secondly I wasn't being entirely serious, I was being over the top in my writing style. It doesn't mean I was quite literally sitting there bawling my eyes out :P Thirdly I'm not the only person complaining about Sora and Matt, other people seem to be getting away with it just fine, and quite right too, people have a right to express how they feel but even so I won't stick around to be targetted if people feel there is someone wrong with me specifically talking about it.

I certainly didn't think I'd get ragged on since other people were already doing it.

Please, think before you accuse people of what they are sitting there doing, thank you.

But to tell you the truth, they did have their cute moments and all, but I wouldn't consider them to be directly romantic in any way. Kinda like having a carrot dangled in front of a donkey. :P
I really liked Kari's relationship with Davis too. She just loved teasing him, it was cute. ^_^

It's strange, the only other canon couple was Yolei and Ken.
I saw the finale with them and I was like 0_o.

They didn't seem to have that much chemistry either. I mean, sure Yolei thought Ken was cute, but she thought alot of guys were cute.

Takeru and Hikari actually kissed in the Japanese version of Digimon 02. I don't know if it's in the Digimon Movie... I really feel sorry for Daisuke...

Anyway, back to Yamato and Mimi, I hate when people (most of them are Clotis and Soratos...yes, Clotis like Sorato!) say that they had no interaction of whatsoever at all. Then take a look at Yamato and Sora! These two never had any interaction at the start for Yamato to like Sora at all!!! >_< Maybe the like the idea of, Friendship and Love, yes the words are compatible, but to be logic Sora started to like Yamato when she found him 'hot' as saying, she's worst than Jun! I prefer Sora with Taichi, at least these two have chemistry, they're best friends, and if you take a look in Season 01, there's the scene Sora got kidnapped by Datamon and you what Taichi does? He cries. And this couple really made me believe that they'll end up together. Which of course, they did not by the courtesy of the producers. <_<

I even had this crazy but yet possible thought that Yamato really likes Mimi, but since Mimi is in the US and meets with a guy named Michael, and later on, TK (the second closest person to Mimi) and the gang met Mimi and Michael at the Digiworld, ne? So of course, TK would have thought Mimi has a thing for Michael and vice versa, so he tells Yamato and Yamato looses hope. Crazy ne?

Another crazy thought of mine is, the producer made Yamato and Mimi alike with FFVII's lovebirds, Cloud and Aerith. Come on!!! With Yamato's hair, eyes, rebellious and cold attitude, and the wolf! This is definitely Cloud's long lost brother for me! And let's not forget Mimi, perky and happy (in the Japanese version, she's not portrayed as a selfish spoiled brat, but she's the one who encourages them move, and she's scared of fights, hurting and dying), the pink-ness and her upbeat attitude, the hair (sadly her eyes are caramel brown)....

T.K. didn't specifically say Sora and Matt were married in the finale. He definitely said Yolei and Ken got married, but not Matt and Sora.
The fact that they didn't stand next to each other and act husband-wife-ish also catches my attention. alot of people say that Matt and Sora have repeated history like Matt's parents. :whistle:

Like everyone else, I was totally distraught when Yamato and Sora ended up together. I was a die-hard Mimato and Taiora fangirl. I thought if any two characters were to end up together, it was gonna be Taichi and Sora. I mean... anyone remember the movie? When Tai gave her the hair pin and later on in the movie, Sora was seen thinking of him? So cute. It broke my heart when Sora rejected Taichi for Yamato. I think I yelled, "Stupid girl!" at the tv screen. lol And I really wanted Mimato to happen. I really wish that Mimi had stayed in Japan and maybe join Yamato's band. That would've been cute.

I had a problem with the ending... it looks like everyone turned out so OOC!! Yamato an astronaute?! Sora a fashion designer??! Mimi a TV cook? Taichi a... what was he again? Something with the government???

I think they had everyone else ok(Hikari a teacher, Takeru a writer, Joe a doctor, Daisuke a traveling noodle shop guy, etc.). But, Mimi, Sora, Taichi, and Matt's future occupations didn't fit them at all. I was sure Mimi would be doing something with fashion. Sora actually came across to me a teacher-type, fashion design never seemed to fit her personality.(Didn't she make that ugly blue cap of hers a fashion statement or something?) I picture Taichi doing something with his soccar career. And Matt would've been perfect as a music producer or a chief.

Oh well... Digimon will always be Sincere/Pure Friendship(mimato), Couragous Love(taiora), and Hopeful Light(takari) for me. ^_^

I just sat an English exam today, and I had to write a speech.
