Hi everyone, I didn't know if I should put this here or in General Chat but I am so happy that I had to share my news. Today is my 3 year anniversary with my husband and I wanted to share that. I hope you don't mind :blush: I truly hope each of you can find a person that makes you happy, Marriage can be truly wonderful.

And since we are on the subject of marriage and weddings, I would like to know either about your weddings or what your dream wedding would be like? I know I always had dreams of what my wedding would be like, and I was fortunate to put alot of what I invisioned into my wedding but I would really like to hear your ideas. Thanks!

as for my ideal wedding, honestly, i don't care about how fancy the wedding is. as long as i am with my bf forever and he is with me i can be happy. ^_^

And my dream wedding?...I've always wanted to get married in the Bahamas right outside the Atlantis hotel, or in it for all I care, that hotel is heaven! XD And my gown would be a Versace dress, with diamonds all around the top part of it. And of course to just make it as romanitc as possible. And the groom wouldn't be wearing a plain old black tuxedo, he'd be wearing a white one (I like white tuxes better then black ones) as you can see, I've put a lot of thought into my wedding day XD

LOL, mines a bit of a crazy wedding. I want a puffy, lacy, wedding dress, and the girls will wear Pink, and the boys will wear black tux's with Pink vests ! And I want to get married outside in a big, hedge garden. Or, by the ocean. One or the other. But, I want a small wedding. Maybe my family members, and close friends. No big, 1000 people wedding... :(

Zomg, are we on the girly subject of dream weddings? :giggle: I've already planned out my wedding (and funeral, but tsk!). Mine's going to be a lovely, simple church wedding, with lots and lots of flowers and ribbons and confetti and white. I'll get married at a little white church, with a white altar and flower petals on the ground. Anyone who wants to can come and share in the happiness. *starts drafting out invitations for CxA Pink Members* :lol: Animals will be more than welcome, I'll have my dogs and people's dogs and horses and cats and god knows what in the church. Maybe my dog will be my ring-bearer. ^_^ There'll be music and dancing (but no large wedding dinner even though my asian parents will kill me, those loud chinese gatherings don't seem to appeal to me).

I'll wear Yuna's white wedding dress (OMG I AM TEH GEEK I know, but it's the only dress I've seen that I actually really liked and who cares if everyone laughs at me, tis my wedding dammit! :rabid3: ) with flowers in my hair and then run off to my honeymoon in a horse-drawn carriage with a Just Married banner at the back. ^_^

Either that, or I'd like to get married on horseback. That would be pretty awesome. :giggle:

My dream wedding....I've never really though about it but, I think I would have many colors manliy pink, purple, light blue, white...(Yes I'm girly. Shocking I know.) Maybe near a beach somewhere.

Well, I've already got my dream wedding PRETTY much planned out, and my boyfriend's in agreement(we'll be getting married probably in about three years once he's done with his religious mission)
We're Mormon, so we believe in being married in our temples, so we've chosen the Sacramento temple(we both live in the Sacramento area and so do our families) and we'll have the reception right next door at the church building that's on the same plot of land. It's got this AWESOME concrete patio and the grounds around are woodland, so it's just BEAUTIFUL up there! Perfect picture backgrounds :wub:
We both like swing dancing, so we're gonna talk his parents into hiring us a swing band, but I don't want JUST swing, so during the band breaks we'll be playing some other stuff(heck, the patio even has a bandstand!)My mom'll be making the cake and the dress, so pretty much all we'll have to pay for is the decorations and the food. I dunno if I wanna do a full dinner or just some hor d'voures*Shrugs* Maybe it'll be pot luck!(Mormons are cheap xD)
For the dress...I dunno, I was thinking something with a sweetheart neck line and empire waist, but I'll try on a bunch before I decide xD As for the cake, I've flipped through my mom's books(She's a baker) and picked a few(all of them centering around flowers) Oh, BTW, I want a spring wedding, but an autumn wedding could be okay too. Just no winter or summer cuz it's an outdoor wedding xD
The decorations are gonna be mostly just flowers and streamers. I like really simple, and I think it can be totally beautiful.

If you must know, I DESPERATLY want that wedding to be tomorrow, but I'ma wait patiently until my sweet heart's gotten everything taken care of that he needs to*Twiddles thumbs...flips through bridal magazine*
