ximio - August 1, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
Don't know if this topic belongs here, but i need help. You see im making a aerith layout for my website.. and when i upload the image to photobucket or imageshack the picture turns all smudgy

Does anyone know any better image hosts that don't do that? :/

I can see what you mean by 'smudgy', ximio. Is this the original size of your picture? Sometimes if your size exceeds the limits set by photobucket or imageshack, they resize it and you lose the quality of your image. Not sure if that's what happened here, but it's worth a thought.

Otherwise, I don't know of any other free image host, sorry. The other option would be uploading it on your own server - that is, only if you have one.
Perhaps you could try doing a google search?

I actually think it's probably because of the picture type. You saved it as .GIF. I would change it to .PNG, but then again, I've always saved my stuff as .PNG, so err. I don't know.

If it's because of the size limit on Photobucket, this might help. Go to 'Account Options'. Then look at the drop down menu next to 'Max Picture Size'. Change it to the highest number and that might help. ^_^
