Title: Taking Religion To The Extreme
Description: Crazy woman isn't it?

Clerith-son - August 1, 2006 06:55 AM (GMT)
Well, I have no idea how to start this topic, just watch THIS video, and comment.

I will edit this post later with my ideas of this.

Edit: Well, this will be complicated for me since I lack of religion, common sense and a little bit of morals. I see the point that most of those soldiers are just wasting themselves in that "war", but: Doing that to their families? That's just sick. Hasn't she ever sinned? Hasn't she ever lost anyone?

I'm no american, and I didn't felt anything because of 9/11, but innocent people died because of that; thinking that way doesn't make her better than the members of Al' Qaeda. Actually, she's the same as them.

ARG.

SOMEONE. NEEDS. TO. BE. BITCH-SLAPPED. :tard: :tard:

Words can't even express how fucked up this lady is, seriously, and how idiotic and close-minded. I wish she would've answered that guy's last question, because that was what I was wondering the whole time; doesn't she sin? EVERYONE sins. So how the hell does she have the right to go around saying shit like "Thank god for 9/11"? And her excuse is that it's because of peoples' sins? That's the most heartless #*@$%'ing thing EVER. This lady doesn't even have half a brain! Ack, I would rant more, but, I think I ought to stop now, if I continue it might just end up a string of curse words. xD

Sadhana - August 1, 2006 01:14 PM (GMT)
That was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. I try so hard every day of my life to see the goodness in people, to see what is positive about them, and celebrate that for what it is, but this woman is a disgrace to the human race. I refuse to even call her a human being because normally human beings have a sense of compassion and sympathy or at least empathy for other people. This sick creature is spewing out nothing but hate and venom from her unfortunately active voice. It's women like this that make me lose my faith in the world. She's as bad as Carrie White's mom.

"Thank God for 9/11"... The most horrible day of my life, I'm supposed to thank God for? The day that I went on top of a hill and saw the smoke from the towers 20 miles away, symbolic of all the pain and suffering innocent people were enduring. The day that prevented me from visiting the site of the World Trade Center for the past five years despite the dozens of opportunities. I'm supposed to thank God for the day my principal came to our class and told us that he was trying desperately to find out if all of our parents were alive. I should thank God for the day I saw people leaping to their death from the burning buildings, and the only day I ever doubted he existed. The day that I realized that the two towers I had seen hundreds of times were completely destroyed, and more than 2,000 innocent people, two of which I knew, were murdered brutally. The day that illogically justified a war in Iraq where more than 2,500 Americans have died (who I am also supposed to celebrate the death of).

I'm sorry, I don't know what's wrong with this sick f**k, but the only thing I thank God for in regards to 9/11 is the fact that no more people died, and that my immediate family was okay.

The wrath of God is coming down upon us... Gee, I thought God was supposed to love his creations. He's kind of vengeful, ill-tempered, and self-centered if he's murdering all of those people simply because some people don't follow the letter of his law. I thought he said not to kill other people... so why is he doing it himself? That's not a very good example he's setting. Personally, I don't like to think God is as much of a devented psychopath as this woman.

I would say that I hope this woman dies, but that would make me just as bad as her. So instead, I hope this woman shuts the f**k up. And it takes a lot for me to think that since I think freedom of speech is the right above all that we should guard more than any other.

[Edit]: Wow, I just looked back at my post, and holy carp I was pissed. Err... sorry guys!

i pRomiSe** - August 1, 2006 05:42 PM (GMT)
This woman needs to be bitchslapped several times over.

What she's saying is offensive to me. Seeing as how my brother is a soldier, going back to Iraq in Sept./Oct., she is...UGH. I can't even EXPLAIN this. I wanna...ugh. Like the guy said, she's a disgrace to the nation and other stuff, but like Sadhana said, she's a disgrace to the human race. I may have only been in 2nd grade when 9/11 happened, but that was the worst day of my life. And now, because of 9/11, my brother is being sent to f**kin' war. And I'm supposed to "Thank God for 9/11"!? As much as God is important to me, this is...AGHH. I'm not even gonna continue 'cause I don't feel like it, I don't know what else to say and Sadhana said a lot of what I was going to say. Hate is a strong word, but I have to say, I officially hate this woman. I despise her. And I have absolutely no clue what I've been saying in this post...

How old is this video? Does anyone know? Just curious.

goddess_in_pink07 - August 1, 2006 06:13 PM (GMT)
Dude, that lady is probably possessed. Goodness, either that or she's just got the wrong idea.... Thats sad. But, thats just really rude and horride of her to do something like that.
Its really upseting to see her be glad about the deaths of men and woman who died for the country.

Imaginary__girl - August 1, 2006 06:22 PM (GMT)
That was so sickening. I can't stand people like that. And the worst part is she feels absolutley no remorse for trying to disrupt these soldiers funerals, with their family and friends already heartbroken enough. If I was in that news studio, I'd do a lot more then just bitch-slap her. What right does she think she has by doing that to those poor families. Not only her, but the rest of them.

Another thing that disturbs me is that she thinks we're supposed to thank God for 9/11. Thats just sick. I agree with you Sadhana, we're supposed to be grateful for the death of 2,500 innocent Amercians? That is the most twisted logic I've ever heard of. Because of 9/11 I now go into panic attacks at airports, and whenever I go on a plane, I have to have one of my friends just hold on to my hand so I feel calmer. I'm supposed to be grateful for going through that now? 9/11 was a tragedy, and certainly not something we should be thanking God for.

I hope this crazy b*tch gets what she deserves.

Onigiri - August 2, 2006 05:04 AM (GMT)
Okay, wait. I don't understand, why is she thanking god for the deaths of the soldiers? Why is she protesting the funerals? They aren't bad mouthing any gods by paying respect to soldiers and their lives. What is it that they've sinned? And what's with that creepy smile. You know there is something twisted in her.

MistaCloudStrife - August 2, 2006 07:05 AM (GMT)
She believes that God is supposedly cleansing the world of sinners through war and anything that causes death.

That church is basically conveniently using the problems of the world as an example and slapping the label "God did this because you sin" on it....

I think her church is pretty retarded..

It says in the bible itself that the result of sin is the "second death"(Basically after you die, you're going to hell)... Not death in this world... They're wrong. And they're stupid. ^_~

Kusari Yarou - August 3, 2006 01:45 PM (GMT)
Blegh :puke: People like that sicken me.
I was cheering on those two guys arguing with her the whole time, and I laughed viciously when they subtly taunted her for her church having--gasp!gasp!---100 members, and told her she was a disgrace to the nation.
"I hate Jews, I hate Christians...", heh, the feeling is entirely mutual, lady!

Lilo - August 3, 2006 06:10 PM (GMT)
Wow, this lady is a wak job. Let me just say I am an american, but I belive people dieing any where in the world is sad and is a cause for mouring. The poor familys who were trying to grieve over the death of there loved one were robbed by this lady and her church. I also belive in the freedom of being able to express your self, but there is a time and place. Not at a funural, the lady had her chance on the news report, where it belonged. The lady did not want to answer any questions. People who are like that want there message out, but they have a hard time debating with other people. They usally do not have a arrgument to stand on and completly side step answering questions. I was raised in a catholic home, not that I really go to church any more, but I was always taught that god loved you for who you were and that he did not hate anyone. This is just what I was told growing up. No offensive to any religion or church going peoples, just my personal rant. :D

TidusBlankety - August 3, 2006 08:02 PM (GMT)
Ok that movie seriously pissed me off. Though Im not a christian any more, and Ive got my own belif system, it still pisses me off at how she bashes the families of soilders and thinks that soilders dont deserve anything, and that everything that happened is great. Yeah screw that 9/11 what the hell why would oyu be thankful that it happened, sure mourning isnt gonna bring them back, but still, thats just not something that you say. That really ticks me off, though i come from a military fmaily, i dont like it, and yeah im from a religious family as well, and i go against theirs too, but i dont run around saying my religion is right yours is all wrong. What that women said is wrong and she should get kicked in the face...i mean seriously keep your views to yourself unless others want to hear them...ugh it just pisses off...this is another reason why i hate religion.

Trisse - August 18, 2006 08:19 AM (GMT)
lol,

I just laughed at how STUPID, and naive this so called woman was. I mean honestly, it's people like this that give reliogious people a bad name, it's people like this that make me want to jump the screen and strangle her !!!

ARG

Thank GOD for 9/11??? how dare she!!!!! and how dare she say that all those people who died in the event deserved it. *I'll give her something she deserves* and How dare she use the name of our heavenly father to justify her so called view and belief on all the friggen events that has happened! Bitch!

Thank GOD 4 Dead soldiers? how dare she! DAMN HER!!!!! my firend is a soldier, my great uncle fought in the vietnam war, soldiers died fighting for what they believed in and how F***ing dare she say that it was stupid of them, and death was their curse! I've got a friggen curse for her!

I am not perfect, no one walking the earths surface is, so how dare she try and brush of that mans last question. Every one has sinned, no one is Pure.

She pisses me of!! im gonna finish here, Like Rikku my post might only consist of Profanity.

Rui - September 15, 2006 11:45 AM (GMT)
WOW...just wow.

I mean, I don't have a religion but I still believe in God and stuff. I never knew such...such rude and...ignorant people can exist!! Okay, I may be a bit rude and cruel and etc. myself but I know where I stand and what not to say in what places.

Thank GOD for 9/11? That's like almost saying thank god for all the wars that happened because well...according to her, war to GOD is like a big vacuum to suck up all of the sinners there and crap. What about the people who were fighting for their freedom? Their country? Their belief? When was it a sin to fight for something you believe in? When was it a sin to fight for the ones you love? For peace?

Yeah, really, thank god for the dead soldiers. Bullcrap.

And God hates us? Oh really. Then if God truly hates us...then there wouldn't be any humans in the first place, would it? This whole world would just be the world of animals and plants. I've never read the Bible so I'm not sure, but according to my Christian friend, isn't God suppose to love all of his creations? Why the hell would he create something if he hates it? Did he create us just so we can be his playtoy where he can kill us whenever he feels like it? Then that's some fucked up deity we have. Okay, I may have sounded rude and mean, but forgive me. It's just what I think. I don't think God is that closeminded to kill anyone and everyone just because they commited some sin. Isn't that why some people live? To atone whatever sins they committed?

Like what ^*Afrononomous*^ said, No one is pure. Everyone is sinned. I've never seen anyone who've never commited the slightest sin.

Kassa_Pyro - September 16, 2006 12:42 AM (GMT)
-growls- She needs to die. Sorry for being blunt, but its true. Thats just...Sick! No, its something more then that, something with no name. And like you guys said, its even worse that she doesn't feel sorry! She was practically LAUGHING while she said it! I hope someone finds her, and sets her straight. She needs to seriously re-think what she was saying.

Thank god for 9/11???? Bull! That day hurt everybody, no matter if they had a family member who was lost or not. I know it hurt me, and anybody like her...shes just plain un-american! I agree with you guys on the comment, too, that shes unhuman. She seems less like a god-lover then a satan in disguise, if you ask me.

aerislives - August 4, 2007 05:18 PM (GMT)
wow what the hell is her problem

Sky Strife - November 22, 2007 01:20 PM (GMT)
QUOTE
A faint rumbling echoes in the distance. The clouds darken and swirl as the wind picks up and howls. Lightning flashes, and the sky peels apart. The aether sizzles and weeps fire as shadows melt and evaporate. A great, yawning void is torn into the very fabric of reality.

From the darkness, a voice booms.

"I shall burn away your sins. Know thy transcience. Sense thy insignificance."

"ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ"

A series of seraphim, each of them identical, flares across the dying sky. They coalesce into an enormous cross, burning white fire.

"Rapture of the Father."

A pencil-thin beam of light pierces the blackness and strikes the ground. Earth and sky are torn asunder as the sky rains judgment.

From God to you, crazy insane ****ers.

No, actually, my teacher. Hell, he's going to freak when he sees this. :puke:
And then: Omnislash V7.

Cue The Seven Angels from Avantasia Metal Opera 2:

QUOTE
We are the seven
Judgement of heaven
Why don't we know?
We are the angels
Its revelation
Soul castigation
Fire will burn you away.

She's crazy !
This lady is a psycho... I'm sorry, but she jumped off the freaky train !
She should be thanking God for the people that were safe in the horrible
tragedy ! Not for the tragedy itself !
Praise the Lord for the people that were safe and thank - you for keeping our country safe Dear Heavenly Father !

I'm sorry if my post offended anybody or goes against anyone * Bows * !

We may have many atheists here that do not agree with your views of this world but that doesn't mean we do not accept religious people and their posts. So there is no need to apologise after each post you make which you appear to do lately. :P

I love to encourage people to debate and share their political and religious views in pretty much every thread as it can be quite entertaining, and what would this world be if we would all be the same anyway.

So, my point was that post what you post and be proud of your beliefs and the laws you personally live by. :)

Tifa Lockheart - November 25, 2007 06:45 AM (GMT)
Am extreme religious fanatic--that's probably how I would describe her. <_<

I honestly don't like these people especially when I run into them on the streets. They scare me because of their words but I don't take them seriously.

Andina - November 26, 2007 03:36 PM (GMT)
Bit different but still as ridicilous.

Religion at its finest

I'm not this holier-than-thou. I may have a holier-than-thou complex but I never go this far. God loves you. The demon hates you because God loves you. I hate to sound anti-atheist, but that's the case if you believe in God.

PS: My classmate proved that nobody is an atheist. Thank God.

I at least am more than curious to hear how he knows and can prove something like this, especially at such young age. :)

That is asinine. I'm a written in stone atheist. I believe in science and the scientific method. I reject the ideals of religion. Yet I do NOT go around harassing religious folks. I have a lovely mix of christian, wicca, jewish, atheist, muslim, etc. friends and I love them all. I say your classmate is honestly being a bigot for saying such non-sense. Love and respect your fellow man.

Regarding the bolded parts, I believe in God, but I don't believe in demons at all. So to say that those who believe in God must also believe that demons hate you is a bit of an assumption.

Also, how exactly does one prove that atheists don't exist?
