Yay, I just watched the movie couple of days ago and it really changed something inside me. I became myself again...I've been kinda living in a shadow for a few months..I've been angry and a little careless also. I don't know if you know the feeling but I think Aerith changed me :) I remember how the game changed my life when I was a little girl...I became thinking and care about things that really matter in my life.
Have you had same experiences?

Of course the movie isn't as great as the game, but I loved to see all those characters again..though I've never been a fan of Tifa.

But yes...it was very obvious that Cloud never stopped loving Aerith. I don't understand how ppl still can argue about Cloud truly feelings towards Aerith and Tifa. Tifa was nothing but a friend. Even if I was Cloti supporter I would have have to change my mind after seeing this film. Cloud loves Aerith and he always will :cleris: Never did he say anything to Tifa even if he had a chance. Besides probably they would have end up together in the end if there was something but no.

I was only a little disappointed that Aerith didn't come back...I would have wanted to see them together or at least hear Cloud say "I love you...Aerith". :fangirl:

But I didn't quite get the ending...what was that Aeris and Zack thing about?! Surely it wasn't anything serious right..? Or was Zack only there for Cloud? I'd hate to think anything else.... :o

Have you read Maiden of the Planet, the official Aerith novella? It totally kills the idea of ZackxAerith. :lol: So, no, Zack and Aerith walking away at the same time doesn't imply anything. Zack merely made an appearance to show Cloud that he is okay and to lend his support to Cloud, IMO.

BTW, did you notice how Aerith was so much brighter and more colorful than Zack in that scene, even though they were both surrounded by a white light? And did you notice that, although Zack followed behind Aerith, he disappeared first? Aerith was walking ahead of him and yet she was visible longer. I think both of these things show that Aerith was the sole focus of Cloud's attention.
