Okay, two questions! One-Calvanism vs ???? I can't remember the other guy's name! The two philosophers that had conflicing views on humans. Calvin and Hobbs is based on them
Two- there's a quote that I love, but for the LIFE of me I can't remember what it's FROM "More than BEING in love, a woman loves being CROSSED in love" What the carp's it from? I think it's from something Shakesperean, or from that general time

Calvanism vs. Arminianism - the issue of free will vs. the sovereignty of God
I've never heard of that quote, though. Google hasn't heard of it, either.

Free will vs..??? Obviously I didn't have half of what I was thinking correct! *Laughs* I guess I'm thinking of something else
BLAST it! I KNOW that quote's from some play!

I'm not quite sure, but I think I discussed this with Raist once

Yeh we did though not about thos specific philosophers.
Nietzsche also did a lot of work in this area. Well the existentialists in general pretty much did.
Hmmm shakesperean...it's certaninly not in Othello, J&R and i doubt it's Hamlet or Macbeth. Maybe King Lear???
Or perhaps something lighet, Taming the Shrew possibly.
