Title: Which Rikku/yuna Do You Like?
Description: FFX or FFX-2?

Vincent_Valentine - July 25, 2006 06:53 PM (GMT)
I liked the Rikku and Yuna from X-2. Rikku because I love her hair and how it's all beaded and stuff and Yuna because it shows her change from a shy, drawback girl to a full on outgoing, speak up for herself girl. It's just awesome.

Carmen - July 25, 2006 07:06 PM (GMT)
I loved Yuna from FFX-2. Like you said, she was a shy drawback girl. I thought she was a total saint and when I saw her in FFX-2, her appearance meant she was gonna kick ass! Its amazing though!

And how long has it been since Tidus has disappeared in the story?

Do you mean the gap between X and X-2? Two years.

And I liked both in X. Rikku was not in your face as much, and just slightly calmer. (And not to mention, she's a bit more clothed in X) And I liked Yuna's shy and laid back personality. And think about it, thats the Yuna that Tidus fell in love with in the first place. They were still cool in X-2, but I liked them better in X.

If I were yuna, I wouldnt dare to wait that long to find my love. Or is that how long it took her to deny the fact that everyone kept ttelling her Tidus wasnt real?

I also like the fact that Rikku is not trying to show so much clevage as she did in the last, although I still think she is. She seemed like the cocky type to me in FFX.

Paladin's Heart - July 25, 2006 08:10 PM (GMT)
I like Rikku in both FFX's. I guess it's because I'm such a big fan, and she's my alter ego. It dosen't really matter if her FFX-2 outfit was a bit...show-y (Although I like her X outfit better), Rikku is just an awesome character.

Which Yuna I like better? I think I liked FFX-2 better because she opened up a bit more from what you all said, 'a shy, drawnback girl'. I think it's because of all her experiences in X and how Tidus tried not to make her die, and going through all that 'betrayer' thing. I think that's when she gained her 'speak up for herself' attitude.

I agree with Imaginary Girl completely with her pick of Yuna FFX. I always thought Yuna was amazing because of the way she handled herself in X with all that she had to carry on her own.

I liked Rikku about the same in both, even though I think visually she is prettier in X-2, I actual don't mind Rikku's outfit completely, I may have changed a little bit but I think she is adorable.

Resha - July 25, 2006 08:56 PM (GMT)
I like both, but I like them in X-2 more! I have more scenes with Rikku so as Yuna, and I like their outfit! kawaii, really. Also, Rikku's much more bubbly here, and Yuna has loosen up the 'shy' attitude a 'bit'. And IMO, I think they're more 'futuristic' and look better in X-2.

Carmen - July 25, 2006 10:33 PM (GMT)
Can someone show pics of Rikku between her in X and her in X-2? Im trying to remember what she looks like.

Flirtatious - July 26, 2006 11:59 AM (GMT)
I liked Rikku better in X, she was so much cuter.

Anti-R - July 27, 2006 08:25 AM (GMT)
Costume wise and personality wise I like Yuna in X.

I like Rikku in X-2. She wasn't a huge character in the original, it's good to see more of her in the sequel.

Scott - July 27, 2006 10:40 AM (GMT)
I like Yuna and Rikku both better in FFX.

Yuna was a bit more naive, a lot less confident so there was a storyline there straight away: to build confidence and do the pilgrimage. Where as in FFX-2 she's just kicking ass and taking names. She was more sweet in X again than she was in X-2, I just didn't think her role in X-2 suited her. And neither did her dress sense :ermm:

As for Rikku, if she was anymore bubbly in X she would've been annoying, hence why she was annoying in X-2 :P I liked Rikku in X because she helped out Tidus and was a bit more useful to your team because of her Overdrive. And again, her dress sense went down the drain in X-2.

Meggie - July 27, 2006 10:32 PM (GMT)
Rikku's FFX outfit are the best :fangirl:

Sefie - July 28, 2006 02:20 AM (GMT)
Bah, NO BRAINER. The outfit's in FFX were WAY better. Yuna's was beautiful, symbolic and just...a work of art. Rikku's was way cool and fun ^_^ I also enjoyed the whole them WEARING CLOTHES, rather than just some...I dunno, ugly lingere >.<

You can REALLY see the difference when you put them together like this.

Carmen - July 28, 2006 03:50 AM (GMT)
Woah!! :o Thanks a bunch Alan! :huggle:

Looks like I was WRONG about Rikku before. I think she's better in FFX then X-2 now. But she's okay in X-2. Just not too fond of her trying to show her stuff <_< .

Asuka - July 28, 2006 08:59 AM (GMT)
I liked the X Version of Yuna & Rikku better personality wise and appearance wise.

Flower_Girl - July 29, 2006 08:08 PM (GMT)
I liked Rikky apperence and attitude more in X. I hated her hair in X-2.
And Yuna's personailty and apperence was better in X as well. I liked everything about Yuna in X, when X-2 came out it was like a completely different character all the way around.

Alchemist - August 2, 2006 03:38 AM (GMT)
I don't really like FFX2 as it really demystifies the characters I found so interesting in FFX. Sure Yuna and Rikku are older but their mental age seems to have regressed. And their tastes in clothes have gone more..... revealing.

Ig uess with X2 it really is possible for Rikku to wear...significantly less

LadyNelZelpher - August 6, 2006 09:16 PM (GMT)
I don't know, I like them both.
In X Yuna is very sweet and innocent, but at least in X-2 she gets to do what she wants, which is great too. :D
I'm just a huge Yuna fan :fangirl:

goddess_in_pink07 - August 6, 2006 09:20 PM (GMT)
I'm gonna have to say Yuna from X and Rikku from X too. I love Yuna's summoner outfit... that would be SOOO cool to have. Its elegant, and its kinda got a kimono type feeling to it. Beautiful, but simple. She looks pretty, but not like, "OMGFLASHYOUTFIT".
I love her X-2 outfit, no dowbt, but her original outfit takes my heart.

Rikku's outfit for X is my fav too over X-2. Its such a cute outfit. It looks so innocent and suits her wonderfully.
Her X-2 outfit is really cool too. Love the scarf, and the cute bikini type mix in it. Cute n sassy! :fangirl:

Hades' Daughter - August 16, 2006 04:20 AM (GMT)
I definitely like Yuna and Rikku from X better, even though I was never a Rikku fan to begin with. To put it simply, I hate what SE did with those two in X-2. They couldn't be any more annoying. Thank god for Paine's existence.

Other than the fact that she was searching for Tidus, I didn't recognize Yuna at all, and Rikku...I just wanted someone to shut her up. Ugh...and their new outfits! I suppose SE had to change them so as to match the annoying new personalities the two somehow picked up >.<

I didn't see Yuna as going from shy to "I'll stand up for myself" in X-2. She became a complete ditz, I thought. IMO, there were several instances in X where she was already standing up for herself, and, at the same time, she wasn't anywhere close to being this annoying.

Zelda - August 16, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
X-2, without a doubt. I don't think Yuna did a 180 with her personality at all. In X, while yes she still managed to stand up for herself, she was on the whole softspoken and lived her life for others, not herself. But with the events in X, she's changed. She's got more spunk now, but she still loves helping people, she still stands up for the things she believes in. She's got more courage to say what she really feels, to travel without needed protection...

and the courage to wear hotpants. <3

I liked Rikku in both games about the same, but she made me laugh more in X-2.

Athena/Fuijin - September 24, 2006 12:41 PM (GMT)
The FFX Rikku and Yuna. I simply hate their FFX-2 personalities. It was like a extreme make-over.

dsimpleton13 - September 24, 2006 05:28 PM (GMT)
hmmmm...i think i liked FFX for thier personalities but i just hated their outfits. IT was weird wacky :lmao: I only liked FFX-2 coz they changed their outfits and became Charlie's Angels Wanna bes! Dun-dun-dun!

Paine - October 20, 2006 01:43 PM (GMT)
i liked Yuna in both of the games!! ^^

and i liked Rikku better in ten. But i loved her hair in Ten-Two

I actually liked Rikkus hair in X-2 it was...unique

But yeah the rest of her just sucked, same with Yuna XD

Starlight Night - October 24, 2006 11:02 AM (GMT)
I liked Yuna in X, but I didn't like all her good natured things. I mean, she seemed to be superficial to me with all her goodness. Someone HAS to have a bit of badness in them and that's where X-2 came in. She got more badass, but with worse clothing. I liked the outfit that she was wearing in X with the personality of X-2 (and I really think that I just condradicted myself ^^)

As for Rikku, I just plain out loved her. X personality and clothes with X-2's hair. lol

Rinchan - January 18, 2007 02:33 AM (GMT)
X Yuna and Rikku. I'm convinced that X2 Yuna and Rikku are really imposters. This is where the real Yuna and Rikku are.

I hate all that is X-2! UGH! They acted like little idiots! I mean God girls, you're adults now. Stop acting like you're 12!

Azumi - January 19, 2007 07:33 PM (GMT)
I like FFX Yuna and Rikku. They seemed more mature than their FFX-2 counterparts. FFX-2 seemed almost AU to me. Even near the end of the game (FFX-2) it didn't seem like they were taking things seriously.

Angelalex242 - January 19, 2007 08:54 PM (GMT)
I suppose what happened to Yuna could be described as 'temporary insanity' due to losing Tidus. Even Cloud took a significant turn for the worse...(to the emo side) in AC, which was likewise two years later.

The trouble is, even if Yuna has that for an excuse, I don't see what Rikku's excuse is.

Still, if one 'death' could cause a man to go emo, I can see why another 'death' might cause a girl to have her mind go a little...well, ya know.

Of course, by my theory, there is hope that after X-2's good ending, Yuna may regain her sanity.

I would also like to point out the following about Yuna, Rikku, and Paine.

Yuna is 17 in the first game, 19 in the second.
Rikku is /15/ in the first game, /17/ in the second.
Paine is 16 on the Crimson Squad, 18 in the second.

Suigetsu - January 4, 2008 09:44 PM (GMT)
I liked them alot in both tought.
I guess I liked rikku more in ffx2, how she was fun and all, I also liked her hair.

Yuna's look its a tought decition here, both looks are realy good but the personality was more interesting in ffx.
