“Darkness of a broken heart”

It seemed so beautiful,
My heart was blind,
Wherever I go,
Love is chasing me now.

No ways I can choose,
No escapes I can see,
No chances of being free,
It’s just you and me.

My life changed,
I can feel it deep inside.
Memories I wish I never had
Are protecting me from falling in love.

I fear all power,
That is not on my control,
I think of the certain ways,
That could let me be free of one big love.

This dreaded thought,
Is escaping from reality,
Is just an unknown and strange feeling,
I can't figure out what's happening,
I'm getting scared!
Why would real love be like this?
No one can tell.

My life changed,
My heart is almost dead,
The darkness of my past,
Is protecting me from falling in love with you... again.

I wrote this poem one day when I was feeling lonely and bored! lol…
I didn’t experience this before but I often put myself on people’s shoes when writing poetry. :)

Well, I cant seem to think of whot to compare this peom too. I guess Cloud's feelings for Aerith :cleris:...though I dont think anything including darkeness can stop him from loving Aerith.
